Opinions of e36 m3 and would you have one instead of a Corrado

They rust like a mofo on the back arches dont they? I quite like them and have been looking at the saloon version, quite a cool Q car to have. -
Could you confirm if it one or both tabs broken please.
-
Looking for a drivers side headlight, dont need the glass if you have a damaged one, just the main part.
-
Its not mine in the photo, I reckon a 35mm drop is good enough. The width and offset is perfect for standard arches.

For some reason I thought yours was a Storm so didnt quite follow. Good choice. -
S3's look great on Corrado's. Good choice!!

Sorry cannot help as Ive not fitted an oil cooler before. Try searching as I know quite a few have fitted them before. I had one on my old VR6 turbo and max oil temp was about 115deg on track, with my standard VR it rose quickly to 130deg so it shows they work. If your interested in the baffled sump let me know.

Welcome, Ive tracked a couple of Corrados and depending on your budget there are certain things to do. As always first thing to do is brakes. Cheapest option would be 288mm brakes from a late Golf VR6 with good pads and discs. That way you can run standard wheels. Feeling flush then brembo's from Seats are a good upgrade but bigger wheels will be required. Next is cooling or oil cooling to be specific. Get an oil cooler in there. Baffled sump will help as well. I have one to fit but might not be bothering now so it could be up for grabs. Tyres I found were a problem unless they are the track focused ones with the stiffer side walls for 15's. Suspension doesnt need to go that low, they handle well even in standard form. Best mod for the track (or any VR) is to get a Golf G60 3.68 final drive and 3rd gear for the gearbox as the standard box really is not suited for track work.

Take the plugs out and have a look at them. If top left and bottom right (when looking from the front of the car) plugs are oiled up them walk away.

Snap! Very subtle but an amazing watch. About 3-4 other Seiko's military style or leather straps. I love watches but will make do with the Omega for a while. I hate Rolex's, dont know why but I just do.

Should fit spot on.

Heard anymore on when these might be ready? Im planning a blitz to do some changes and it would be a good oppourtunity to get these fitted. -
Welcome, what Porsche have you got. Ultimately I want a nice 993 RS but Ive got to get saving. Original GT2 would be nice as well. The guy Id bought my current car from had just got himself a 993 Carrerra 4 but said he still enjoyed the Corrado.

Cool, what sort of mileage has yours done? The B6 S4 I had handled well for the size of it. What sort of mpg are you getting? -

Whats the Audi like? Im tempted to get another uber barge and these things are quite cheap. Some decent ones going about with K04's fitted as well. -
Thats VR's and only as late Mk3's had that size. 280mm on a standard valver is more than enough. Why not look at them first i.e. G60 brakes.
-
James, first of all welcome. I will say you should look through the various sub sections on the forum as there are many sticky threads that will address all your questions as they have been asked many times before. Get some photos up of the car and current spec as well.

Wilwood also offer good calipers that will fit smaller wheels.
-
They look not bad. Whats the width and offset? Tried the front to see they dont hit the calipers. Heres some LM reps photos.
-
I can also confrim, I had two complete doors and a tailgate in one before.
-
I dont get the whole deal with replica snobbery, some people dont want to spend £1k+ on a set of wheels and whether something is a split rim or not doesnt matter. I realise you pay for what you get but at the end of the day most cars are not going to be show cars and they will be looked after so why not? The Corrado suits the LM perfectly, dare I say it better than the RS's IMO.

They were Compomotive TH2's. Best part of £1k now for wheels alone. Ive asked the guy that bought my car about a dozen times if I could buy them back.
