    Had the car on the RR today and it made 201bhp, that just with Schimmel cams and everything else standard. Not bad for 137kmiles. Put the RS4 on just to see if the map was as quoted by MRC and it was 459bhp!!! Checking ATW figures there is a 30bhp difference compared to MRC plot as well so it just shows its running will and what the cold weather does!!

    Ive done this before and its easy to do. Dont worry about cutting this, its never seen and it wont affect the car in anyway. I'll PM you about getting one.

    I used mine for two weeks solid recently when we had minus temps and it handled it perfeclty well. Didnt feel uncomfortable and was practical enough. If you have a good one with a good comprimise in mods i.e. not too low and heaters working then they are no different to most modern cars. I drove my girlfriends 52 plate Astra and it felt older than the Corrado!!

    If they are 3 piece can you not just get different lips for the wheels from Image. I suspect it wont be cheap but Id rather do that than start hacking at bodywork. Making a car fit to the wheels it has is not right in my eyes.

    Fairly similar however the B6 was about 100bhp down on this and a little softer, this just feels like a beast. With the turbo's it feels quicker as well when they starting boosting. Noise wise its quite refined and Ive been looking at exhausts however I like the fact it doesnt stand out and is fairly subtle.

    Thats one of the reasons I was okay with this colour as well as it just blends in so well. I had a shot of one with a few more mods running ~480bhp and it still didnt feel like the VRT. No wheels spin with this though, it just launches and goes.

    Its a beast. Just piles on the speed so effortlessly. Its quite a heavy car but I kind of like that, feel more of a brute. Its doesnt feel like a 10year old car at all. I will need time to get used to the tractor gearbox though!! Not touching the Corrado now, just preventative maintainance, as it will be a commuter car now.

    Well, RS4 bought. Flew to London yesterday and picked it up. 520miles later it was home. Love it!! I will be alternating weeks using this and the Corrado to keep the mileage down on the RS and get more use out of the Corrado. Its basically standard bar loads of MRC maintainance and a remap by them. Still not as quick as the VRT was though but a nicer place to be.

    No, no V8 nonsense. 4 rings affirmative though. The Corrado was still quicker.

    I like it and seems okay to me. Decent spec and MRC are bloody good from what Ive been told. I saw it last year and almost bought it after missing the red one too much but Ive been there done that and looking at other things. Funnily enough the new motor has MRC work as well.

    I reckon £3.5 max. Tad misleading calling a 4mo Corrado, 24v is better.

    Friend of mine is just away to start with Renault or whatever there called now. He has had no motorsport training in the slightest but knows how to fix Tornado's, right place at the right time and I wish him all the luck in the world. Couldnt have happened to a nicer guy and I am insanely jealous!!!

    Keep it silver and make sure it stays satin. Ive had two and I still think its the best colour for them.
