I tried to do the same and ran into the same problems. I think there is a Seat Ibiza part that allows you to relocate the power steering reservior to beside the battery. You still dont really have that much room for the cold air feed. I just moved the battery over as much as possible and squeezed the cold air feed along the side.

Bet it feels old compared to the Corrado. That was my feeling after jumping into a Mk2 after a big brake. Double check rear jacking points and the usual rust spots as they all seem to be getting to the age where the underseal and paint are hiding a lot of nasty suprises. Nice cars though.

Everytime these things are on I cannot order as when I click delivery options it comes up with an error "enter valid number" but doesnt give me where. ITS ****IN DOING MY HEAD IN!!!!!!!!! ---------- Post added at 09:09 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:03 PM ---------- Get this, it brings my address up but doesnt recognise it as a delivery address. I live on a main street in the middle of Aberdeen FFS!!!

Sod the stats on the truck, lets see some stats on the lass!!!

Are you leaving the arches standard for rolling them out?

I think thats sums it up. Its a Mini / Clio alternative for the fairer sex. I dont like them myself, loads going about in Aberdeen and as with any Audi these days you do pay a premium.

Love the Italian bit, I did just as you and took the approach "do as the locals do". Lovelly part of the world.

If thats what they are selling for take the thing with you and sell it. You will be able to buy another when you come back.

300mm is about the perfect balance between size and weight. I picked up some new discs for the S4 and tried them in against the TH2's so you can go a lot bigger if you need to with the compomotive. I wouldnt though as they weigh a ton, thats 345mm by the way.

Nice, silver is **** hot. -
Davidwort summed it up for me, IMO after looking at the tailgate I dont think the cost vs weight saving is not worth it for me. If I was going with the polycarbonate window then yes but I want to retain the glass in the car. It does looks a great product but for me there are other things I would like to look at for the moment. I think its a great idea for any track regulars when combined with the polyc windows.

How much? PM if you like. -
Must be, far too cheap.

****, just realised my new car is band M. Tax disc said £245 and I assumed that was for 12months.
-
Just watch them for the turbos / manifolds. I heard they are prone for cracking / going pop and with two its twice as expensive. With a couple of K04's they are supposed to be pretty damn fast.
-
Which one? If your looking for a B6 for £7k its going to have mega miles on it and thats an expensive B5. I am absolutely loving mine. There no sports car though, big heavy lump. More of a comfortable bruiser than a flighty chucakable car. dont get me wrong they still handle but you do feel the weight. The sound and overall feel with the proper quattro etc make if feel solid. Only downside Ive found is fuel consumption but in reality its not that bad for a 4.2l V8. Im getting arouns 24.5mpg at the moment on mainly A/B road commute, 29mpg was what I was getting in My Mk5 Gti on same roads.
-
Id tend to agree, from the ones Ive been in they dont seem that great built. I loved my Mk5, all it needed was a bit extra poke - ED30 would solve that.
-
Only thing that would worry me with the 24v engines is the plasctic manifold fatiguing over time. They flex quite a bit as standard so with added pressure is must be a lot worse. Saying that a turbo is what suits the engine better I would say, there plenty of poke lower down then get the snails singing and it will fly.

Really, I didnt see but wasnt looking TBH. If there is a stand I'd like to put the car on if thats ok.

I'll bump this up. Me and my mate have booked a pitch at the camping however it only looks like its the two of us so there is a two spaces on the pitch available if anyone is interested.
