  1. Nice, you simply have to get the Milltek non res exhaust for it. Just fitted one to mine and it has the perfect note.
  2. Im still going but I have space on the Aberdeenshire Clubgti stand. Could maybe do that on Sat and CCGB on Sunday. Who do I PM?
  3. I bloody hope so if / when I come to sell the S4!! Ive got a feeling that may not be the case though with £450+ tax etc and 22mpg.
  4. Great car but sometimes needs must. No point keeping somthing that is financially draining or not getting used because of emotional attachment. You will regret it a lot but Id be doing the same in your position. If my VR starts to get under used then it will go as well. Id rather it was getting used and enjoyed than sitting in a garage doing nothing going to waste.
  5. Whats the spec on these? I know jack about them.

Nice photo from a local hiilclimb event I went to on Sunday.
  7. Have to agree with Jim, mine doesnt have them but I prefer to have them. Car looks good.
  8. So there is an S1 and RS1 coming out? Do Audi not realise they are diluting there S / RS brand to the point that its not that big a deal anymore. I really dont see the point in an RS1 TBH.
  9. Haha, that didnt take long. You guys seem to get some good figures with low boost numbers. FYI Im running about 1bar and its 360bhp that with a 3582.
  10. You'll be lucky to spot any. I can go week without seeing another one up here. Might have mine out tomorrow as the Audi's in for a service but Im not going near any conference. Roddy, whats with the new name?
  11. I sold mine for about £4k and it needed a few hundred for paint. If you dont need a quick sale put it up for that and wait. I really miss mine TBH, its such a great all round package.
  12. 4 stud cars were the 4cyl versions, the VR was the only with 5 stud.
  13. Yep, they do look more like the standard version and I suppose there is the fact they are Speedline as well. Either are very nice but your right about price. Compo's are about a grand a set now.
  14. There is no way the TT comps are light than the standard speedlines. I thought they were notorius as being quite heavy.
  15. Very tidy for an early SRAD. My first Gixxer was the black and yellow one of these. Loved it.
  16. Ive done a few track days now and all I have is adjustable coilovers. Never had any real issues with the car even in the rain. Seemed to have plenty of grip. Obviosuly there was understeer at some points but only really in the wet. You can see I have a relatively soft set up from the photos.
  17. Nice one. So what wheels do you have lined up? Did it come with the Borbets?
  18. Always good to have the option to run the standard wheels though. Which coilovers did you go for?
  19. Few questions, 1. Widths available? 2. Offset choice? 3. Weight?
  20. Im slowly coming round to the idea of these with figures like that above. Thats about 3 x the MPG that Im getting from my Audi!!
  21. Everywhere. Pistonheads, ebay etc etc. I saw the owner post about possibly selling his on a local forum and just emailed him to get some info. Manual for me, I hate auto's.
  22. Id go with a 288mm front set up over the 312mm. It will allow you to run the standard wheels if you need to and there isnt a massive difference in stopping power.
  23. Good luck, I looked for one of them a while back and good luck with the paint matching. I was told they stopped selling it as it was a nightmare to spray and paint match individual panels so they ended up having to do spray a lot more of the car i.e. the whole side. Shame as its a great colour. Tried the Mk5Gti forum?
  24. Your not, Im not feeling them Im afriad. I dont think there any better than the standard seats. I think VW got them spot on from the start.
