  1. Likin that! :thumbleft: I love em in white and that looks a nice white one. Can tell the paint work is better than mine!
  2. I never saw Sepultura but I did see Soulfly at the ozzfest in 1998 (Fear Factory were there too). That was awesome and it was in the middle of my GCSE exams. That's my excuse for doing so badly.... Well, one of my excuses!
  3. Until about six months ago I had pretty long hair. I still need something in front of my eyes cos I'm just used to it. I'd get freaked out or something if it wasn't there. I was a bit of a metaller too. Sepultura, Fear Factory and Machine Head and stuff. It's all good. I was painting the rado over the weekend and was done up like Darth Vader and I've got loads of spots where the respirator was on my face. Not that I don't get them anyway.... I'll try that water thing, thanks for the advice dude. :D I'd just like to categorically deny being into emo. Each to their own and all but I can't abide by it.
  4. Acne at 25 man, it's a sorry state of affairs!!!
  5. Welcome to the forum! I give it six months before you buy a second one! :D
  6. Mmmmm.... Supercharged VR6.... Wouldn't mind one of those one day.
  7. I'd happily nab the VR off you mate but I'd have to sell both my cars and unfortunately at the moment the black one ain't going nowhere.... All the best with the sale though and I hope it goes to a good home. You still gonna visit the forum though right?
  8. In my insurance days I spent some time dealing with commercial vehicle insurance. The premiums for some haulage companies are like £40,000 (I kid you not). A scratch on a bumper is nothing to them. Just hope the driver admits it.
  9. There must be a way you can buy that car and keep the rado. You'd get so much more than a grand for it. Your mate would understand....
  10. Sorry, but I'm having too much fun with this..... me I say respect to be able to roll with!!! but while looking at well, I hold has to say that it made an enormous job, should look at to you has twice fixings which it put a little everywhere, and put has share the accesoires which are of a taste which are clean for him, the jobs is nikel, adjusted well and clean. me I say CHEER
  11.   Quality! Shame the same can't be said about the car. I never thought I'd see a type R badge on a clio. I've seen an R32 badge on a TDi golf (why? why would you do that?), and a V6 badge on a 1.4 golf, and a 16v badge on a 12v corsa.... But that, gentlemen, is in a whole new league. Thought I'd have a go at translating what they are saying using the almighty Babel Fish. Which I'm sure has turned out to be as accurate as ever: incredible... the interior is even more nutcase that outside. In all this bric with brac, I notice as even as the car is nickel and maintained well. There is not a dust, there a sand grain on the tapie! While speaking about dust, the tdb must be cotton to be cleaned, d
  12. What? Haven't seen one of them for ages. Haven't you only just got the rado? That's a tough one mate. You can't really compare those two cars.
  13. Sanded off lots of paint from my little incident with my girlfriends wall (very boring). Then had some fun with some filler. Just needs a bit more work and then painting but I've finished for the day now as knackered.
  14. I can tell my G60 is probably gonna end up going the same way.... It's just a feeling I have. I'm gonna go to fix one thing and find a million other things wrong in the process.
  15. that is without doubt one of the best replies ive seen in a long time lmfho    Glad you like! There is a lot of police activity in the Switch today. Not sure what's going on but apparently they're all down to the train station because of concerns about terrorists. Gotta love Bee & Coo though (I'm so glad I don't have a Suffolk accent, no offence to anybody that does of course). I always find their selection of tools a bit disappointing and their loose bolts are always mixed up and you can only ever find one of the set of four that you're looking for. I prefer Partridge's in Hadleigh. Real retro hardware store with blokes in brown overcoats, it's awesome. You are right about the inbredness of East Anglia. It's scary. I did actually go to school with half of the current force in Ipswich which just further emphasizes your point I guess. Oh mate, you can let off an old school chum can't yer?...
  16. In Ipswich we have some fat guys on push bikes. Mind you, that's all it takes to catch a chav propelled saxo which is about all they have to chase around here. If they're after one of our many murdering scum bags they normally just wait for him to get home.
  17. As Corrado owners can we really pass comment on reliability? We'd probably break down after 49 miles....
  18. Am seriously considering taking mine off the road for a couple of months. Get it sorted good and proper. There's so much that needs doing without even thinking of mods. And I'd hate for it to blow up on me or something rubbish. Unfortunately the guy I got it off had lost the piece of paper saying the charger had been done 17000 miles ago. He was genuine about everything else so I don't really doubt him and he worked for Audi as a mechanic so it's not like he didn't know his stuff. I listen to my heart a lot of the time and the price was right. But anyway, probably down to G-werks for a rebuild. Can't be too careful now. :D
  19. Unfortunately my G60 is not as sorted as that. Not by a long way....
  20. When you see this giving you the blue lights in your mirror.... That's really gonna f*ck your day up if you've been misbehaving.
  21. That Z4 driver would have been beaten by a standard R32.
  22. Hey guys, Well after some deliberation I have decided to remove the cylinder head from the valver and have a butchers at the gasket and piston rings. Really the only thing I can put the problems down to is poor compression so it's time to stop pussy footing around with things outside of the engine and really get stuck in. Obviously I want to make sure I have all the right tools to hand before I start so does anyone know what size spline bit I will need for the cylinder head bolts? I don't own any myself yet and some sets only go up to 12mm. It's a 9A by the way. Cheers. Joe
  23. Your windows will stop working as well.
  24. I have two corrados. Both now in various stages of broken. Why couldn't I have taken up stamp collecting or something?
  25. It's not alive! :( :( :( Thought I'd take it for a little jaunt today. Just around the block as it hasn't moved from the spot since I got it home. Put the key in the ignition.... Lots of starter motor action but nothing much else. Damn it. Tried again and got it to start and this time there is stupid amounts of smoke billowing out of it. I can't believe it. All the work I've put into it and it's getting worse! Oh well, at least it idles now. It wasn't doing that before. I'm starting to think this is something very serious though. I'm going to take the whole engine to bits and just rebuild the bstard. I just can't imagine how it got like this. What did they do to it???
