Game changing wheels! I was seriously tempted by them when Daren had them up for sale but decided against them... may regret that! Glad they've gone to a good home though and the car is looking great :thumbleft: Haven't done anything new on my car recently, just been driving the hell out of it but posts like this give me inspiration to pull my finger out :)

RELISTED! Beige Heated Front Leather Seats 90 COLLECTED! Beige Heated Front Leather Seats 90 COLLECTED Relisted due to buyer unfortunately not able to collect, and now I'm being nagged at so these really need to go, hence the price Removed from a VR6 Storm. Not in perfect condition, but no rips in the leather and can come up great with a clean (a bit dirty now) or some connolising. Certainly not the worst I've seen. MISSING - Seatbelt buckles (donated to my Recaros) and Drivers side lever handle (the one which tilts the seat to let passengers in the back). All these parts are available on ebay and are pretty cheap. Price reflects this. Heating elements work fine, although no loom provided. The picture shown is quite an old one (hence the tilt lever being present) but it's all I have at hand at the moment. The quality of the leather is a little worse, but you can see the main wear area on the drivers side bolster. I will take some more pictures if there is any interest. 90ovno COLLECTED from CR5. Need these gone ASAP so grab a bargain. Can take more pics this Friday although ideally they would be gone by then! lol yep, 1st gear is pretty useless :) And speaking of gears I do still get paranoid that the box will self destruct but it seems to be holding up fine at the moment. Jon @ Stealth is ordering me an uprated gear set next month though (Don Octane - never heard of them, but apparently better than SQS and Quaife) so soon I should be able to be a bit less sympathetic when shifting :thumbleft: 8) lol, that would have been my mate who came along with me. I picked him up at 06:00 so he was pretty tired towards the end of the day. Wuss! Sorry I didn't get a chance to say hi
-
Good to see you on here buddy and thanks - cracking G60 you've got there. I would have stuck around after the trophies, but it looked like it was about to rain and my mate was whining so I decided to leave in a convoy of others. Hopefully see you at another show
-
Thanks man :) The cup holders have been properly handy since I fitted them! I had a good look around your car - really nice and clean :) I do like the Schmidts too
-
Thanks to those above :) Forgot to mention that - a few runs down the strip was the plan, but it turns out my driving license photo card had expired... Gutted!! Serves me right I suppose, sent off for my new one earlier
-
Yep - although after speaking to the owner of this G60 and seeing the work he put in, I really think this one should have taken the trophy! I also took some random pics which I may as well share of some of the other cars in the show n shine. Some aren't entirely to my taste, but clearly a lot of work gone in to all of them which can only be admired:
-
Thanks guys :) I'm really happy to have won, although very time I look at my car I see all of its flaws. Guess we all do that to an extent! Got a few more plans for it off season, spoke to my local body shop about getting a few bodywork issues sorted out (some rust around the windscreen under the seal mainly) and decided to get it booked in for a full respray (a proper job this time - windows out etc) I'm also amazed at the sheer amount of stone chips my front bumper has picked up since going turbo... oops! Another picture I found from yesterday that somebody else took:
-
Aye, class 10 (corrado) I believe :)
-
Congratulations anyway Eric - It still would have won even if there were competitors! :)
-
Small update, went to GTI International today - a big selection of some very nice cars and I saw some good action on the strip. Due to the lack of club stand I decided to enter into the show and shine. I felt like my car was the odd one out as I was surrounded by newer metal, air suspension and mega bucks alloys :) Very surprised again to come home with a trophy! Only managed to take a couple of really bad pics! Sorry ... Mega warped splash guard
-
Enjoyed the show, some nice motors there! Eric - In case you didn't know, you won a trophy :) cant remember which class though. Congrats! Nick
-
Aiming to get there before 9 so I'll be heading up the m25/m40 between 07:00 - 09:00 if anyone wanted to convoy. See you tomorrow :) Haven't had time to really clean the car though :(
-
No experience of either, but I wouldn't buy a diesel if I were doing 5k miles a year, let alone a 138k one - DPF and whatnot puts me right off! Mix of both - A6 maybe? If you did want a diesel though I'd probably check out E60 535D
-
Really surprised to see you're selling but I can understand your reasons. You've had a good innings! Whoever buys this will have one of the best corrados in the country, no doubt about it - one of my favourites! Loads of cars have horror stories - even the heater matrix blowing, oval boring, footwell leaking and sunroof tilting VR6! Any of the above cars you mentioned would do nicely...
-
Thanks for clarifying. Website states it's "pay on the day" only now so hopefully won't have any problems Tempted to enter the Corrado class Show n Shine though for sh*ts and giggles :)
-
Seems like only 2 of us have registered for the club stand for sunday on CCGB (out of 50!) Deadline for registration is on the 27th June, so would also like to know if the club stand is still happening?
-
Wow that is perfect! Never seen those mudflaps before either Enjoy it :)
-
I'd buy a beer to whoever saves that! Looked like a great example before the body mods. Imagine buying it and driving it home

If you ever venture into Croydon I'd gladly take you for a spin in mine to help you make your mind up
