the corrado is easy to do, just get some passat rear door handles. I've got an article somewhere on how to do it, but dont know where it is at the moment!!

buy the filterand Sump plug washer from VW, and the oil 10w40 fully synthetic too. then go to any good garage with the parts and oil and there you go and just check they have fitted your filter before you drive off.

i bent the arm on the mechanism to make it work. you also need to remove the pin systems (i think)

are salford quays, know it well Uni boat race every year LOL. so the C is better protected at work than home then lol.

you can mount your tweeter under the grills in the dash.(where the OEM tweeters are) that would be the best place for them if you dont want them in the door pods.

okay Tweeters should be at ear level ideally but not always possible in a car. just look at any floor standing house speaker the tweeters are always at the top to thats for a reason. Also a cars acoustics are totally different and the tweeter may refect the sound round the car to much especially when places high near glass. Speakers in a car are hard to direct physically. In my C i have set the sound so that the "hotseat" the optimal audio spot is the drivers seat. After all, i spend most of the time in my C alone to and from work, so why shouldn't i have the best stereo image. The sound should be coming from all around you rather than front or back, left or right, just bear that im mind. I've got mine in the door pods facing up into the passenger compartment.

Believe it or not VW have a special tool for removing the door cards off a C, its like a pickle fork. and is used to remove the card from the bottem clips.

are you on about the one for inside the doors. Well VW dont make metal/chrome ones, Volks bits did sell some but they got banned by VW. Corrados made between 3/91 and 4/93 had sill "scuff panels with corrado on them part number 535 853 813 A 01C they are black Other colours are available, but they dont have corrado embossed on them. check the cable routing under the bonnet. i moved mine out of place when fitting my samco coolant pipes, went stiff, the result was the rubber gromit in the pedel streching and the cable popping out !! DOH

You can get the Climatronic kit from the Passat to fit the later VR6 dash, i think its the same as the MK4 panel above. Speak to Guy Heartly, he has just had the conversion done.

The LHD and RHD are different pitty I would have a LHD. BTW before you say how all the parts are on opposite sides, I.e Wiper motor, ecu, etc.
