fully Synth 10w40 according to everyone with a g60 Jabba sport say that any thicker oil will cause higher oil pressure that could damage the seals in the charger!!
-
i like the idea of all this, but seems a bit ott for everyday use, and frankly just i'd be worried abot the car getting broken into for the kit. still i'd like to see the finished product!!
-
depends on the connector from the alarm, and the LEDs you use etc, no that hard to do to be honest. use and auto connector and tape it up after to be sure or a plug and socket.
-
to the alarm aux output!! sorted!

okay for a bit of fun lets see who has the biggest bill, The rule is the cost must be for one item only. i.e not a servie bill Cannot include Labour charges. Must one single item, be it a Mod of any sort, or even replacement part. Lets also who has got the cheapest I think i've got the cheapest with €0.07cents for the rubber on the Gas pedel that holds the cable in. thats less than 4pence from the Stealer too.
-
i'm not sure as i dont have any door pins but the central locking should not work with the engine running, some one confirm this please.
-
The bumper bolts are on each side you will see three all together, DONT i REPEAT DONT remove the middle ones. cos that might hurt you and your car.
-
I'm going to lock this one and point you in the direction of this thread VWCCGB Website

Try changing your fuel filter, that will make the pump also silent from in the car. -
fuel pump running when engine off on my g60
G60Jet replied to brian g60 corrado's topic in Engine Bay
Its normal, i think its to cooler the fueling too as a hot fuel system leads to fuel vapourising and the car not starting, Common fault on R19 and R5 turbos i believe. -
if you pull the seat backs forward there is a screw at the top neat the seat belt, the panel its selt is mostly cliped in with one or two screws round the outside, and door piler
-
the window control box is behind the drivers seat in a LHD corrado, so im going with the seat belt system too.

Hate to blow the center speaker theory but..... if you remove it you'll find nothing more that the screw(s) that hold the screen vents in!!

Okay The stereo Should go off when you pull the key out, and the amp must be controlled be the amp control of the stereo. (or electric ariel cable off stereo) You need to fit a power cable from the battery with and inline fuse with the same rating as the amp, normally 30a or 40a, this inline fuse must be no more that 3-4 inches away from the battery. run the cable down the side of the car through the bulk head using grommets where needed, and along the inside sills to the boot. Find a good earth point for the ground, ideally as short as possble or directly back to the battery with itsa own cable. any questions give me a shout
-
i'd go for spending more on the engine and forget the seats. Q-car factor all the way!! power under the bonnet, no difference on the outside!!
-
Could be one of two things Could be the idle screw coming out of the inlet manifold, really hard to see and find. or the microswitch on the throttle body is playing up, get a meter out and check the switch operates correctly. just a starting point
-
What are you fitting?
-
you can do it on the older version aparently, but depends on which copy you have. some are only corrado versions somre are full versions from what i've seen
