Front and rear seats in excellent condition, I can email pictures to anyone interested. Price is £50, they would need to be collected obviously due to weight unless someone wanted to collect them or arrange for collection.

Hi there, can anyone tell me if the G60 gearbox has a crankshaft sensor for the flywheel? Im using a g60 flywheel with a corrado vr6 and pressure plate along with an asd code diesel gearbox on my 16vg60 build. Im hopeing to get a sensor reading from the flywheel.
-
Hi there im on the lookout for a secondhand g60 flywheel. I wondered if anyone had access to the wear limit and original plate thickness dimensions please as I dont have a manual? Ive noticed a few for sale but wanted to check they were ok.

Thanks very much! Started to take one side apart until i was informed that when there is load on a wheel bearing it becomes even noisier, i thought it was the other was around. So now have to do the same again on the other side. One thing i did notice was the driveshaft didnt want to come out of the hub carrier. Is this a common problem?.

Hi there im changing a wheel bearing on my 1995 VR6 today but dont have access to any torque values. I need the hub carrier to strut, lower ball joint nut, caliper mounting bolts, track rod nut, anti-roll bar tie rod bolt and driveshaft nut settings if anyone could help please.

yes that should have been 30 mm :)

Sorry for slow response, they are appox 300mm deep.

Thanks for the information mate, i have the later leather door cards and i was hoping to mount the tweeters in the dash but if its going to really compromise the sound then ill have to find an alternative, not sure where else ill be able to put them so ill have to have a search about. Sounds like the audioscape pods are the way to go but the rarity of them probably means ill not find any for quite a while and i really wanted to get cracking with installing everything soon.
-
Hi mate, thanks for the input, i would like to mount the sub and amp either side of the boot but it looks like ill have to make up my own enclosures as the audioscape ones look to be very rare now. My sub is mounted in a box which is my next problem. I doubt it will take to kindly to being mounted in a smaller enclosure with no porting. Does anyone have a picture of how the amp enclosure is fitted and holds the amp?.
-
Thanks for the reply, how did you mount your component speakers in the door?. Behind the covers in each corner of the dash seems as good a place as any for the tweeters? totally hidden from view then. My sub is a 12" infinity unit that came in a ported box, im not sure how it would fair if it were mounted like yours but i like the idea of retaining all of the boot space rather than having a big box taking up all of the space. Would there be any chance i could trouble you for a few pictures of how exactly they are mounted as im very tempted to go down this route with mine. Ive not heard much about the audioscape doorpods, is it something i definately need? i think the mid-range speakers are small enough to go stright into the doors although im not sure if this is the best way for rattles and vibratios?. Is the sub enclosure and amp rack made by audioscape too?. Thanks. ---------- Post added at 12:38 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:23 PM ---------- Also forgot to ask whats the best method of sound insulating the doors?

Hi there, im going to be installing a set of infinity component speakers in the corrado, along with an amp, sub and 6 x 9`s in the parcel shelf. The plan is to power the components and sub from the amp and run the 6 x 9`s from the head unit. I wanted to mount the tweeters in the dashboard and wondered if there was anything i could use to mount them in the original holes in the dashboard? Is there an adapter or anything available or do i just need to improvise?. The next thing will be to route the wires and mount the crossovers. Not really sure where these will go yet but it seems to make sense to have them close to the speakers to avoid running more cable than i need to through the car, somewhere in the dash maybe? again if anyone has any ideas that have worked well for them id really appreciate listening to how they have done it. Once the speakers are in ill need to secure the sub and amp in the boot. I was planning on mounting the amp to the sub although im not sure if this is the best way due to vibration? Then ill need a way of securing the box so it doesnt slide around the boot. Ive searched through the forum and will continue to do so but i just wanted to start my own thread and invite comments from fellow corrado users who have done all this before. Maybe my set-up needs some adjustment or there is a better way of doing it? Im all ears and would appreciate your input :).

Thanks for the offer I ended up going down the second hand route and buying a door off a corrado breaker advertising on eBay. £45 for the door then £45 for delivery before 1pm on Saturday. I've bought the door on the word off the breaker having not seen it so ill report back when I've had a good look at it.

Like a complete idiot ive reversed my previously very straight corrado into a lampost and ruined the door and bent the sill :(. My first futile port of call was VW who said they dont have any doors anywhere but if enough people wanted one (around 10) there may be a possibility that the factory would make a batch for the eye watering sum of £850 or so. That option is well off the list then. Does anyone know where else i might try for a door or whether door skins are available from anywhere? I was quoted £480 to fix it but the door would be full of filler and i really dont fancy that. Finally are all drivers doors the same?. Thanks.

Looking for a mint drivers door please.

Ive taken pictures of the headlights and seats, not sure how to put them up here so for anyone interested they can be emailed, thanks.

Ok ive sent you a pm just reiterating that it needs rewrapping and a good clean but apart from that works and all connectors are in tact. Is that ok for you?.
-
Excellent! no worries. Loom is available Rorgasm if you want it?.

Hi there i have a fair few g60 parts available if you need anything. ECU, engine bay wiring loom, supercharger brackets, throttle body, G60 front brakes. Cheers.
-
I can't remember what make they are sorry, all I can remember is that they have done no more than 30 miles as I've only moved the car from one house to another. The calipers come with carriers yes, all working and condition wise well I'm guessing they have been on the car since new so not clean.

No damage, glass could do with polishing if that's even possible, don't have any pictures but if anyone is interested then I can get some picture s

Id say its definately worth either opening it up yourself or sending it away to the likes of jabbasport (costs around £25) for them to inspect it. This way everybody knows where they stand. If its a good unit then its worth £300 all day long. Without any form of inspection it could be scrap and its an expensive gamble.

Hi everybody, ive recently purchased a VR6 and ive been thinking about supercharging it. Ive seen a few classifieds for chargers of different sorts and wondered what are my options?. Ive heard of a VF charger and a rotrex. What is considered to be the cream de la creme of the chargers? Thanks.

Thanks for the input! I think the Dodo juice buff daddy sounds like the machine for me, being a complete beginner. After rummaging around on a few forums ive heard good reports of scholl polishes, microfibre DA pads and mequires 101 polishing compound which apparantly was developed for the european market. Lots of choice! now its time to try and narrow it down a bit. Ive also heard great things about the dodo juice products and im going to invest in their shampoo, clay bar and lube and then a selection of waxes. Lime prime looks like a great product for refining, Supernatural hybrid looks great for waxing, and ive heard good things about orange crush. Thats a fair old christmas right there :)
