Shouldn't colour code the reg plate surround IMO - just wouldn't look right... not that you'd be doing it, just something I read a few posts up. Looks effin' impressive tho, so leave it alone now. :luvlove:

Like it never happened :thumbleft:

JMC? ...just whundering if your G60 would look better with a 3 slat grill as apposed to the 7 slat one you've got there... :ignore:

If Nigel Havers (Actor) was a car he'd look like that.

Storm Warning? Have you trimmed your rubber roof strips? They look "modified".

Where have you been hiding? :luvlove: I'd like to see it without the bra on.

...just seen your rado on ebay - it's a shame. :(

I don't know why you'd want to do that - but if you had to, gloss black would seem the better option. Generally speaking, IMO rado = graceful. -
Pretty bright for 9:45pm. Which only gives us more driveway-tinkering-time! :ignore: Nice job Mr white rado man :thumb right:

Help needed - I'm liking the 1 series Coupe
Veearrhsix replied to Andy665's topic in General Car Chat
Maybe the 1 series, is only supposed to look good when your standing close to it - you know like from say 6 feet high or something, to give you another take on it's shape. That might go for all their recent cars actually. And that's probably Beemer Co. being "clever". -
...ahem - not sure how fussy you are but I'd probs av a go at re-painting the old red letters with your new red. But that's just me. I'll be re-painting the red "VR6" on the front grill of mine soon. :camp:

Hatchback is the better compromise out of the two. But neither for me, unless someone gave me one - then I'd sell it and by 1 fully working rado and [strike:1znp1dz3]gold plate[/strike:1znp1dz3] it. :norty: Edit: Chrome plate it! ...Sod it I'll get a Delorean instead. :luvlove: -
Wish I was there for that!

Is that your brother's beemer too? Welcome aboard anyhow! :)

Any VR owners felt the need to get a 2nd car?
Veearrhsix replied to Veearrhsix's topic in General Car Chat
Maybe I'll follow by your example as soon as I've got the rado set up to the way I want it. You know the feeling that you're abusing the car to a point where you go "Eeeeewww... that's hairy!" Well that's the current state it's in - it should be capable of doing what it does but it doesn't. However, adopting the driving style of those Nissan Micra owners won't be my cup of tea either. :offtopic: Anyone hate Micras? They really are caricatures of their incapable drivers... Their overall shape looks like they're bricking themselves all the time. Get out of my way I say! :ignore: -

Veearrhsix replied to Veearrhsix's topic in General Car Chat
By-the-way, yeah it is sacrilege to even think of using another car while I have this one, tho - I care about this one more than the weekly substitute I'll be getting. Besides, I've done the Rado-whispering to it, so it understands. It's for her own damn good. :luvlove: -

Silver Focus 1.8 5dr 2000 plate. Going for £2,295 - cash will drop it to £2,145. Mileage = 80K Might buy it - will include new MOT etc. Looks ok tho will test drive later in week. Is this price region an average deal or could I knock another 100 off it? -

Hmmm... thinking best resort would be in getting a Ford sh*tbox... Anyone recommend their Focus in any way? -
Just thinking about getting another car for main driving, and keeping the VR for "weekends". Anyone else done this, as I'm predicting maintenance costs on the poor devil, will be rocketing soon. I'd like to keep it on the driveway for the foreseeable future, and work on it without the hassle of getting it road worthy every time I need to drive somewhere. Which brings me to another conundrum - what car I should get as a daily runabout? Want something cheap and cheerful, reliable with a little bit of zip under the £2k range. P.S. no FIAT's.
