If you've not been here already viewtopic.php?f=31&t=61125 give it a whirl. :study:

Nice pic "nos" nice respray too - thought the red looked too rich to be original. Tornado or Flash?
-
Nice cam-angle you've got there - bigger bumper too? Looks different "Stuckinthe90s".

Wow just dawned of me reading in response - What the hell is a VW these days anyhow? In regards to the modern creation VAG are turning out, maybe this particular rado, is no different to those, VW are churning out at the minute. Without knowing it, these guys may have just made a statement about the current condition with all carmakers.

Very nice work considering where to begin on something like this. If my mind serves me correctly, you resprayed it in places? Like the spoiler, and around the tail lights? Either way, it's turned out fab. What a turn around. As you've got 2 rados don't be tempted to sell one of them (ever). (especially that red one) :salute:

Considering what I've read on Vortex, I stand by my opinion. I mean really? It's an interesting piece of kit but only that. I couldn't have done what they've done there so hats off to them still. Despite it just being a body thrown on top of an Audi chassis, as it has Audi interior too, it barely resembles anything a rado is, plus it's a manipulated body at that. I'm just a purest at heart - and venting here so :ignore: :ignore: :ignore: :ignore: :ignore: Am I alone on this one?

In your opinion :| True.

Same here - bought mine ages ago, and cost a packet - but will wait until I've got some money together for a spray job - then I won't have to T-cut my fingers to bits.

Have I missed some New Rules on Motorway Driving?
Veearrhsix replied to Jay2's topic in General Car Chat
Trucks overtaking trucks? All about thinking-momentum - just like every other bit of w*nk driving on the roads today. Philosophy; it's better to drive the long way round, than to be in a jam going the short way round. And indicators - like LisaK said - when they bother to that is. Re. courteous driving, if I'm letting someone in front of me or whatever, I usual order them to do it, therefore if they don't thank me, I'm not bothered. Tho my method is a practical one (driving momentum), rather than a will of good gesture. And BMW drivers are (tw@ts) people too. -
It's not a rado anymore.

Have I missed some New Rules on Motorway Driving?

At a petrol station - some BMW b!tch wants to vent her frustration at me - routing for an apology from me... Basically, the Ford Focus' fuel flap's on the right, and there was one left-side pump available from the rest, so I use my initiative while it was clear. So when it comes to put my nozzle in the hole, forecourt tannoy requests I turn my car round again - so I did and in meantime, BMW b!tch comes up to use pump I'm leaving (plenty of room), as I pull into a recently available pump (right-hand), next to me. BMW b!tch regards my driving as erratic and after explaining to her something that should've been self-explanatory, hence what I was doing, I asked her "I don't know what else you want me to say?" BMW drivers want their feet kissed - but I keep having to remind myself they're people too. :hitler: -

What size of LM's did you have - 16's or 18's, and what's the camber like on your new set? P.S. nice work.

I suppose you're on to something there as we can't determine love for the VR through use or not, as it's predominantly a financial thing for me anyways. One for the fact my VR needs some work, and two I'm never gonna part with it. Love for the VR is down to personal preference I guess, in many ways - as it's a driver's car and for those who have the confidence to rag their VR whenever they can, are enviable in my eyes and for sure I'd be joining you if I had the money to fix mine. For now I share a different love for my rado, as it rests under a weather blanket on my drive, while I get the money together to do what I want to it. -

The Focus takes £43-ish every 360 miles and from memory the VR takes £80-ish every 400 miles. You do the math... no seriously coz I can't :brickwall: -
Spicy - You'll have to spray black more than the handles but well worth it in my opinion. You know it's right. Basically that glass black finish. :thumb right: On the front bumper skirt, tow-eye covers, front grill, front headlights surrounds, windscreen/engine gutter, wing mirror frames, doorhandles, side bumper strip (not that you've got them), aerial base, rear tail lights surrounds, reg. plate surround, Corrado name badge... ...Anything else, just polish with back-to-black or something - a lot of work but would work really well with your colour!
-
It would mean every other black trim on your car would have to go under the same treatment - but well worth it in my opinion. Trust me it would look the dog's b :censored: llocks!
-
Yeah debadged stock would look best - black... IMO what you should do, and not sure if you'd be bothered with this idea, but why not spray your grill a smooth gloss black, and also the light surrounds should be sprayed smooth gloss black too - that'll be more in keeping with the sleek bumper-look. Never been done, and subtle enough to be the best looking rado I've ever seen. P.S. No eyebrows (looks tacky).

Stock - and nowt wrong with one piece of bling. :salute:

Mmmmmmm... Cheddar and Ham sandwiches with tomato soup :dorky:
