Certainly keeps the lines to the C. clean without door handles, tho I was hoping you were going to say the alternate door openings would be similar to those on later TVR's.

Re. an alternative door handle release - where abouts would it be hidden?

Hmmm... Just wondering how to take off the S/S pipe cover you find on the standard VR6 exhaust so that I can give it a good clean - dulled outside and coked inside.

Hey there, I shone a torch inside - couldn't find where to begin on mine either... So looks like I'm going to book it in for a proper installation. Would prefer to do it myself tho. :?

For some reason I'm compelled to typing this... Anyone else get a vibe from their C.? Now and again there's been times I've locked my car and walked away, while looking back at it and going wow to myself! And with a grin, glancing at its tailgate towards me - indicators flashing from arming the alarm, it reminds me of a loyal pet dog. It just has a kinda Alsatian-type look about it! Just waits there patiently for the next time you go out in it. Your VR in the snow however, has a wolf-like elegance. Nice white pics there turbomagikz... Anyway - thought I'd mention it as your pics remind me of this aspect... I'll best stay off the drugs now. :)

Hey edd thanks for the help - will begin my search for a long enough cable - before I do that though, I'll investigate how long the snapped one should be and see what bonus lengths come up ...that's if I've read your message right. It's worth a try but does anyone know how long this particular cable is (ooh I can sense people's eyes rolling now). :D

... :shock: someone help me out with this cable lark as I don't know what the hell it is and no one's got one. Due to awesomgti removing it, I have nothing to go off for comparison. All I know is, is that the turny knob that gives me the options for air to either come out of the dash vents and/or footwell, is kaput.

Hi bigpants baby - you know the one that controls the blast of air to each group of vents, such as demisting windscreen, face fan, feet warmer, etc. Is this one a multiple of cables or just one? Either way I'll have it (them) if you've got it going spare. :)

No options on which vents I can direct air out of. Went to awesomgti, for new heater matrix installation which was done successfully - they pointed out the highlighted problem, and offered to rectify it. However, they couldn't get hold of a cable to replace the snapped one... They said if I could get hold of one, they'd fit it - apparently they've set it up so that when I find one, they don't have to take off the whole dash again. Any ideas where I can get one from, and how much for and is it called a Bowden cable? Plus my rheostat only works on 4, but already got ideas on that tho. Many thanks in advance. Driving my C. through the McD's drivethru last night and it died on me - so two of their workers had to come out and push it round to the car park bit... Not going there again - was embarrassed to say the least. Eating my cold Mc chicken thing - turned out when Gr**n Flag came out to "rescue" me, that only the sparkplugs leads needed pressing back in! Sh*t eh? And he called it a CorrOdo. Live and learn eh...

Speaking of chrome... you should really get the tailpipe chromed - or a new shiny chrome backbox.

The way a C. should've looked rolling out the factory IMO. If t'was practical, would definitely look like a force to be reckoned with.

Got a thumbs up from a pedestrian who wanted to show his appreciation for my (dirty) VR6... leaning so far into the road, nearly ran the crazy guy over!

...rear driver's side caliper has been sticking - and so far seems to have remedied the slow cornering control. Going in Awesome for a check over on a few other observations this week, as well as a new heater matrix assembly (quoted @ 500ish pounds). Hmmmm.

...night-time in the middle lane on the M60 doing 60 with the others ...guy's with his wife and kids in a lexus-lights modded Bora... Holding up the outside lane his young kids are forced to look round - wife not interested - he's just there nodding his smiling head for what seemed the longest minute as he was holding up displeased commuters. I thought, yep it's a Corrado, well done now p*ss off.

...the handle's become brittle and broken off - don't suppose anyone know's where I could get my hands on a replacement dipstick for a VR6 Corrado? Cheers - Chris :indiff:
