Like people have said - love the stance. Liking the black bits too. You've done well  -

Cheers Supercharged, I was considering on new hoses, as as you say 'sponginess' being something of a characteristic. How old is old fluid for it to be regarded as old? One significant moment I've noticed after long periods of driving, is after applying the breaks on the odd chance, the pedal fights its way up against my pressing down - like a solid 'brick'. Then after releasing it, normal service resumes. With them being heart in mouth moments (3 so far), I did notice a scraping, like metal on metal if you like. Tho the break pads are approx 5 months old there should be no issue there. After the 3rd time, I've pulled over and checked all discs for abnormal scarring and nothing noticeable. Just thought could there be an abnormal heat source boiling my break fluid somewhere?

Old thread this, tho I could do with flying a question out - basically, how do I get a solid feel through my breaks anyone? I must admit I don't think I've ever felt this other than driving my sister's new Polo. I've had new breaks fitted on various cars in the past, but nothing like I've felt in my sister's. Could do with this on the VR. Appreciate any advice. :notworthy:

 Is that tryptophan related?

Each to their own - now you need to chrome the manifold. :|

Ah very well - you're right and I agree about certain ! :hitler: ! somethings you mentioned there... The 4 motion - a good compromise tho. :D

Very nice. Keep it that way. :thumb right: -
Hmmmm what replaces your ex-daily driver these days? Surely nothing could compare? I bet your petrol bills are lower tho!

You make it seem less daunting now... The sponge idea I'll definitely use. I guess the trick is to use lots of coats of everything until the bottles are empty. Now I'll see if the weather will hold up for me.

Is it worth putting Autoglym's Super Resin Polish on after applying the T-Cut Colour-Fast? Does the Super Resin Polish help to somehow bond the Extra Gloss Protection more permanently? If so - is it worth applying the Super Resin Ploish before applying the Colour-Fast too? :help:
-
Blonde moment here but theres no point to using a clay bar if I'm using T-Cut?
-
Polished and waxed as I've said in another thread, however is it best to use T-Cut (colour restorer) all the time? And then obviously apply plenty of coats of T-Cut Colour-Fast afterwards? Another thing - the Super Resin Polish when applied then starts to take off the damn Colour-Fast! Now my understanding from the general info here, is that in order to seal it 'properly', I've got to use Autoglym's Extra Gloss Protection (which I did)... :pale: And to get to my point here - it's only been a week (lots of rain mind you), and the paint work's starting to take the p!ss again. Red paint. Spent nearly 2 days perfecting it! Ok - long enough message here - but tips... Can anyone recommend if it's better to leave each application on for longer before buffing them off (as I've kinda read someone saying). Each application being T-Cut restorer, colour-fast, Autoglym's super resin, and extra gloss. And obviously if anyone recommends it, not to do it in the sunshine, as I've found baking the T-Cut on is a b@stard to get off. None of this would be an issue if I didn't have a red car.

...bit of both too - When it's a weekend/summer toy though, it brings to my attention how in need it is for a mechanic's TLC. :nurse:

Not had internet access for 3 weeks - Gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! It's good to be back! Moved house in the process, T-cutted the car last week in between b@stard showers, then added the restorer, then the Auto Gym gloss shine, and for the first couple of days the car got a liking by the rotten birds!!!! Leaving presents all over it - and I mean big presents! What are they eating these days!!! Well that T-cut scared the sh*t out of me as never used the original stuff before! Couldn't get the stuff off initially, so had to put more on to get it off... thought I'd melted the body work on occassions! New neighbours from all fours observed on that day...Well it looks good as nearly new now - just needs the wheels reconditioning, and that'll be phase one of many many more to go! Pics coming soon! Got a Ford Capri fanatic on my street too - so likes his cars I think too...

Ahhh... that's Rado love that is... :thumb right:

Warm feeling? ...Yes indeedy... Mostly from oncoming traffic. The odd reps/fleet cars tend to gorp at you driving the opposite way... Mostly in their late 30's - so they'll all probably going back to their late teens for a split second as I go past. Should've put this in the chufties thread but I'll never forget a rather actrative lady in in a silver Porsche Boxter, waved to me as I drove past her... Now that was a warm feeling... :luvlove: -
