  1. yeah but do you have the center caps?? :D £11 each at the dealers! Anyway, of course Speedlines are the best wheels (for a Corrado) any other talk is just :cuckoo:
  2. Chaps, I'd also be up for this, just as long as there is a decent amount of notice given before the race day is decided. Tuesday's or Thursday's would be better for me. Don't know how I'll cope playing an hour straight! 1.Alex_g60_fanatic 2.-=Kris=- 3. DC MonkeyVR6
  3. Cheers for the advice chaps, unfortunately I don't have an iPhone, so I'll have to have a bash with the performance calculator and try Aqvila's advice too. Am I able to buy another Corrado and modify that to a more acceptable standard? Or possible another 'setup' on the same car? For instance I could whack an R32 engine in instead and keep the mods to 'street' or 'sport' level?
  4. Hi chaps, I've got a bit carried away and on a 6000 CR (Forza 3 money) Corrado I've spent a total of 167,660 CR on upgrading...resulting in a A Class, 560 PI car :help: The car is great in a straight line, especially off the mark, but I'm finding out that it handles like a boat come a corner, which is pissing me off when playing you lot online as much less powerful Corrado's are destroying me! The car spec: AWD chasis 3.0 litre VR6 engine + single turbo 457bhp 381 lb-ft 2,698lbs or 6.5 speed 5.2 handling 7.4 acceleration 8.8 launch 5.3 braking Obviously, the handling and braking is something I really need to address, however both of them are upraded to 'race'. :confused4: I realise that I'm going to have to sacrifice a bit of bhp, but I need to keep the car in a reasonable class with a reasonable 'PI' number, or I'm either not going to be able to race my A Class car against other modified Corrados and if I can...I'm unable to keep it on the track! Basically, can a Forza geek advise me on how to decrease performance on my C thus enabling me to be competitive with racing others online. Cheers ez.
  5. I'm an hour ahead, so I don't even watch TopGear till 2200hrs, so I don't get to bed on a Sunday till at least 2300hrs... I honestly doubt if I'll watch it at all next week. I used to burn every episode to DVD, now I don't bother even wasting a 50cents blank DVD. :|
  6. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SEAT-RUNNER-GUIDE ... 2a00fc7274 They fit a Mk1, Mk2, Mk3, so I assume they fit, but just to make sure. The seats have a smidge of wobble in them that I want sorted.
  7. Ok, now this is more like it. To my surprise there are almost 250 BMW M5 designs with a 'Police' theme. Some are bad...some are ok and some are very good indeed. There are even some fanboys who've created a Diplomatic Protection Group car design! Bit random... :dorky: I was tempted to download a GCP (aka 'Polizei') car, however my region seems to be one of the few left rollin' in green, whereas the rest of German has gone a bit US-tastic with their uniforms and kit and equipment (i.e. cars) are gone NYPD blue wannabe blue :camp: I wonder if I could get someone to create me my Police car? Anyway, back to the game...I've now got a 500-rated Met Police car (see below), so who wants a race now :D Typical of the mofo to attempt to 'airbag' me... PIT maneuver bitch!
  8. Cheers for the couple of races fellas. Not sure who it was, apart from Mattski76 and a few others. I was unable to chat as one of my bloody kittens mistook my XBox headset firstly for a toy, then secondly for food... :nono: Not cool. Anyway, I've ordered a new one and it got posted today - have read that they're a little fragile, but hopefully it'll last until I can be bothered to spend 50Euros on a wireless one. Apologies for rollin' deep in my 500+ Corrado VR6, I think I over modded it as its barely driveable and cost me thousands of credits. I've not been playing long so I don't have a huge array of vehicles. Anyway, I'm sure we'll race again soon - maybe next time we could turn up the damage so its not just cosmetic and maybe increase the 'end race' timer as some of us are still learning and 30secs just doesn't cut it...plus I don't get any credits if I get 'DNF' :D Give me a shout next time peeps wanna race :salute:
  9. My cars been having some major work done, so I've not driven it in 2 months...started it up last night for the first time in ages, it still makes me smile having my shift light. I'd forgotten all about it! Bizzare, but it seemed to be set at the rpm I had set it too before I took the battery out :confused4:
  10. Fuck it, I'm going to buy one then. How many hours would it take a non-main-dealer garage to fit it?
  11. Chaps, do you have to de-cat if you fit a 6-2-1 manifold? I was going to get one of the (many) ones of eBay.
  12. I've seen them on eBay for about £160ish. Are they any good? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-CORRADO-VR6-2- ... 3353d95fb0 or http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/STAINLESS-STEEL-M ... 3a543514b2 or http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-CORRADO-VR6-2- ... 5d26ae14db :cuckoo:
  13. Roger that, will do mate as soon as I get back online. Not sure how I'd download it on the storefront?! Is that in the same place where you can buy the cars other peeps have created? Sorry about the collision in the Veryon, I wasn't even paying attention! The brakes on that car are shocking!
  14. by stretching and moving decal shapes... I have a template that I made if you want me to make you one? Ya, that would be awesome dude. I think a numberplate would really finish off my cars properly.# Hang on...wasn't it you that rear-ended my lovely blue Clio V6? I was doing really well until that moment!!
  15. How do you guys put number plates on the cars?!
  16. I too get this noise. I'm not too far off taking it to a garage as its really pissing me off and I look (and sound!) a tit whenever I'm in reverse.
  17. or the stuff from the dealership? :?
  18. Oh my word...this game is f'kin' loco! Its immense. If anyone wants a game (bear in mind I'm a complete n00b and I've only got a Fiat 500), then add me: DC MonkeyVR6 Probably going to be awake for about another hour if you want a game. Cheers.
  19. Ok, I realise that these are not the most pimpest/scene/e38 wheels going, but German winters are harsh and I just want to spray them black (find some centre caps?!) and use them as winter wheels. I'm guessing Monte Carlo's also, they were fitted to 1995 model Golf GTI's and 16V's - Part number 1H0 601 025F. Is this number on them anywhere on the 3 you have? Ian. They are still on my mates car, so I can't see the part numbers :? Anyone know what they are?
  20. Ah-ha! Thats them, I'm sure it is. The ones I have are without centre caps. Are they rare?
  21. Because my mate has borrowed them (+ emergency wheel jobbie) on his Mk3 Golf project at my local car club. I guess I'll have to go and take a camera phone pic of them tomorrow and upload it here... :?
  22. Bit of a random question fellas. I've been given 3 15" alloy wheels with 205/50 tyres that I want to put onto my Corrado as winter wheels (the 4th wheel died in a kerb related accident!). So I'm hunting about on eBay for a forth wheel, however, I can't seem to find them! Basically, they look like the 5-spoke VR6 speedlines, but the spokes are a bit fatter. I've seen them on Mk3 Golfs and other Corrados. Has anyone got a picture of them and/or know what they're called? Cheers.
  23. My XBox arrives on Tuesday. I'll deffo be up for some league action...although I'm going to be a complete n00b :D
