  1. Pics, price, postage etc? Does it come with a boss kit? Cheers ez.
  2. Ok, I give in. Where can I buy such things?! They don't even list it on the Momo website. I'd need one of those boss things too. Cheers.
  3. Chaps, My standard Corrado VR6 steering wheel is looking a bit ropey. I can't find a mint, standard replacement, so I'm looking for advice on aftermarket items (OMP, Momo etc). Please show me yours! What size do I go for? Where can I get them from etc? I don't want a chrome/bling Halfords looking thing, hopefully as standard as possible. My hands tend to sweat a bit (how dodgy does that sound!) so maybe I'd be better off with suede?!
  4. Is taking off the door card a mission then? I was going to have a stab at this tomorrow to see how 'easy' it is to fix.
  5. 1. Don't need or want coilovers. 2. I know that I could save up a bit more - but I don't want to. I'm not bothered about labour costs, as I'll fit them myself. My front suspension (standard VW) is less than 1 year old, but my rear suspension is knackered and feels 'floatly', so I need to get on this sharpish. As well as the suspension kit I'm also got to get some of these: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/POWERFLEX-Rear-Be ... 2a04e20e76 ...as mine appear to have died! So what is there out there? Weitc? FK? Would a 'kit' come with everything I require? Top mounts etc? Cheers.
  6. Over here (Germany) its pretty reasonable at the Aral garages. If you're based over here we get tax-free fuel coupons, the 'highest' petrol ones are Super Plus which can be exchanged for fuel up to 100 RON at Aral/Shell etc. I've used Aral 102 before and you just pay the difference between the Super Plus coupons you've bought and the price of the Aral 102 stuff. Got loads more MPG out of a full tank of the stuff. D.
  7. Hi guys, Just after a bit of advice really. My door pulls are starting to play up a bit, I have to push the bit-you-pull-out-to-open-the-door back in once the door is shut otherwise it sticks outwards. Does that make sense?! I might try and upload photos tomorrow. No, this doesn't stop the door closing, it just bugs me. Is it the cable behind, in the door card, that will have stretched and is about to snap? Bit of an odd one...just wondered if anyone has come across this problem, and if so, what did they do to fix it? Cheers.
  8. To add to this list, there are also 3 RHD Corrado's in Germany. 2 x VR6's and 1 x 16v.
  9. Nah, unfortunately not. Nothing I'd describe as 'cheap', although being £200-300 more expensive than the UK, its about 50% cheaper than insuring my Corrado in Germany!
  10. Just brimmed my VR6 on Aral 102 Octane petrol. I'm in Germany and normally use Shell V-Power Racing 100...but the 102 octane stuff is slightly cheaper. Do you chaps get this stuff in the UK yet? I remember BP doing 102 petrol near race tracks, but at an utterly obscene price, about £2.50 per litre. Am I going to notice a difference?
  11. Is the radiator fan switch/sender the blue, brown or yellow one? I thought I'd replaced them all, but mine does tend to rise to 105 in heavy, staionary traffic.
  12. I am 100% certain shiz goes down differently without the cameras there! Its positive to see a pro-Police post on a car enthauist forum, makes a change to the usual Edition38 :camp: 's
  13. I'd be well up for a meet chaps, although err...due to my job, certain parts of NI are out-of-bounds for me. I have no idea which ones they are yet, as I've never been there. Once I'm there, discovered where I'm allowed to go etc, then I'll be well up for a meet.
  14. I'm going to try to e-mail a mate at my local VW dealership back home. Hopefully I'll be able to pick some of these up - as others have mentioned, the original 'sticker' Corrado mats don't wear very well.
  15. I'm moving to N.Ireland later in the year chaps. Any Corrado service specialists there? It doesn't seem to be that there are many about there.

    DubPower

Had the same e-mail from Sharon from DubPower regarding the HT leads packaging. I've not had them yet, they were posted over the bank holiday in the UK, plus to make this more complicated, there was a bank holiday over here in Germany too! Looking forward to putting them on the car though, I'm pretty sure that the ones currently on the car are 15 years old.
  17. Used this stuff again today, I can't believe how good it makes the car look and the difference it makes above just polishing. I even had a go at applying it by hand, the bodywork was pretty hot (27 degrees today), so it went on pretty well and was easy to spread evenly.
  18. Agreed. I always use this shiz, then wax.
  19. Does no-one use Autogylm AquaWax? Its so simple and effective. After you've rinsed off whatever car shampoo you use, then spray this stuff off and wipe it off with a microfibe cloth. Simple. Then polish/wax etc. Simples. Never use a blade, thats just m-e-n-t-a-l, I'd also never use a shamois. :camp:
  20. Cheers Guy, Got my oil and spark plugs this morning! :D
  21. MonkeyVR6

    what oil???

I personally think a 5 weight oil is too thin for an old car, especially one with high mileage.
  22. MonkeyVR6

    what oil???

Ask that Opie Oils chap, he's sorted me out. http://www.opieoils.co.uk/Default.aspx? Thats his website, but I'm pretty sure he's on here too.
  23. Cool. Good for you mate, when I tried, at my local Ford dealership in Germany they wouldn't sell me the small cheaper part, they insisted on selling me the whole pipe its attached to for loaaaads of cash. The one I bought of eBay fitted and works fine.
