YES! Just got my Dad to pick me up an XBox 360 Elite with FIFA 10 and Forza 3 for £197!
-
I can't believe that at almost 28 years old I'm having to call my Mum to ask her to go get an XBox for me at Sainsbury's! Why don't the German's have Sainsbury's!!! ALDI doesn't have any bastard XBox's!

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-CORRADO-GENUIN ... %26ps%3D63 Anyone got one of the above? I've e-mailed the seller on eBay and he can provide it with black stitching. I was just wondering if anyone had one fitted and if it looks as good as it does in the picture and how easy it is to fit? Cheers.
-
I got mine from the dealership. Pretty cheap and only a few quid each, plus they even fitted them for me! I can't remember exactly (I searched on here myself when I did it) but I think you need to use some of the LHD pedals?

Chaps, Anyone got the part number for the coolant flush? I dare not attempt to ask for this item in German at my local dealership! Vo isssssst die KOOOOOL-ANT FLUSH bitte?
-
I bought a car off him and I've been very happy with it indeed. As for the car, it looks great and seems to have a nice spec, as with most Corrado's, I'd go and give it a good test drive first to make sure and give it a good check over.

Gearbox out. Anything I should do in the meantime?
MonkeyVR6 replied to MonkeyVR6's topic in Engine Bay
Am going to order one of these from Volkswagen next week. I've already replaced the front and rear engine mounts. Have also bought a clutch and this clutch install kit and alignment tool from the USA: http://www.germanautoparts.com/Volkswag ... lutch/54/2 -
Hi chaps, As above really took the gearbox out and its now in the process of being rebuilt. Had to remove quite a lot of stuff to get at the gearbox, is there anything I should check/replace while I've got the opportunity? Cheers.

Change both and watch the temps fall. And don't use a GSF metal bladed pump, they disintegrate and the particles clog up the aux pump. Is this one of the 'bladed' pumps? No idea how much one from VW is, but they're £30ish new from eBay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWAX:IT

Worst case scenario its going to cost me 750 Euros for a full rebuild :gag: So, I could just buy this? http://www.germanautoparts.com/Volkswag ... lutch/54/2 *update* Above kit purchased.

Dude...life is peachy :D Hence I'm asking about this - its bugging me. I can't see it being the water pump and the only other thing I can think of is to change the radiator. The fan kicks still kicks in at the right levels.
-
Ya, but now its running at 95. I've no idea why?!
-
Hi chaps, My engine has always run at 90 degree's, even after long high-speed blasts, however the last few weeks the normal running coolant temp has risen to 95 degree's . I've changed the coolant, all 3 water temp switches and the fan switch all from Volkswagen. Any other ideas? :confused4: Cheers.

Wow! Some good info there mate, thanks for that. I'll have to show that to my partner in crime (the mechanic). Unfortunately, I didn't fit the Passat VR6 gearbox I had lined up, when I was told "very good condition with the same miles", what that actually meant was "30,000 miles more, and its f**ked". :? Sooooo, my gearbox is getting sent off to http://www.vankronenburg.nl/hoofd.html to be rebuilt :brickwall:

Chaps, I'm changing the clutch, clutch slave cylinder, gearbox, thermostadt, fan switch, oil and filter, drive shaft grease and coolant tomorrow! :( Anyone got any tips for changing the clutch and gearbox or done them before?!
-
Don't the early VR6's have a higher top speed as they're not restricted? Mine won't go faster than 147/148mph.
-
Started my FOR SALE ad...
-
Mine is FOR SALE soon. VR6, 2 owners, original/standard, 95,000 miles, very good condition... :D

Anyone have the part no's for timing chains and tensioners?
MonkeyVR6 replied to Leonard's topic in Suppliers Forum
Well my mate and I are changing the gearbox and clutch anyway, of which he's more than capable, although I didn't know how easy it was (or not) to do the chains and tensioners...people seem to make quite a big deal of it. -
Not getting rid of the 'rado... Well OK I have!
MonkeyVR6 replied to Alexander's topic in General Car Chat
I'm kinda thinking the same way recently. My Corrado VR6 is becoming a hard car to justify. I was honestly thinking of a Lupo GTi or a Renault 172? -
I wonder what engine it'll have? Do they still do a 3.0 litre V6 that they used in the 406 Coupe?

The Love Of A Corrado (Give It A Read)

I do love my car, but its costs me silly money to keep it in mint condition. -

MonkeyVR6 replied to Leonard's topic in Suppliers Forum
Have this major job coming up me thinks. Am replacing the gearbox at the end of the month anyway, so figure I might as well do the rest of the stuff. I don't suppose that anyone knows if I were to supply the parts for a garage what is the average amount of labour they'd charge? :? -

I've been in a Lotus 340R when Cambridge used to have a Lotus dealership in town...you look a FOOL getting out of it, as you have to put your hands on the road to help you out. Or maybe this was just me? :camp: -
Cheers for the tip mate - I've sent them an e-mail.
