  1. theres some cheeky gits about they want everything for nothing , and i bet she wants top dollar for everything she sells stick to your guns :)
  2. heater controls are a common fail front wheel bearings should not have failed that quick even with binding brakes (unless they have been binding a long time)as this will stuff the grease up in the bearings rear bearing as already said should be hand tight at the nut and just a tiny tweek more but only slightly squeeky brakes could be just a hard spot in the pads (did you bed them in when new) hope this helps a little.
  3. all track rod end are either tappered with a nut or on other stuff including some vag cars straight but clamped with a pinch bolt arrangement theres no way its straight with a nut on the bottom as they would work loose over time not all tapers are obvious some are only slight.
  4. good rim and i like the polished rim and black or grey centre look ,but i dont think there for the C my self somebody could surely do a photoshop job if you ask nicely :)
  5. aahh the search box everyones unused friend :(
  6. its the machine that decides the results not the tester so it should have made no difference to the tester mate.

  9. ive had tt ones for over 12 months now and the blades are still good no juddering or anything , worth every dime tryed everything else but you cant beat the tt wipers there even clearing the screen at high speed with no issues :)
  10. its sods law what should be a easy job never bloody is, theres a spare ignition live in the fuse box i used it for my gauges :)
  11. report the arshole and bad feedback is a must people like this get right up my nose not everything we sell gets the price you want but thats life and to sell a car and not remove the auction is crap you entered into a legally binding contract with him buy winning i have had this happen to me one an auction then the guy said "oh i wanted more than that " so he was reported and it was not the first time he had done this so he got banned " good enough " if you cant play fair dont play at all .
  12. you wont need longer bolts on the rear as the stud threads are flush to the hub face and the 5mm spacer will be no thicker than a front disc which isnt flush if you get my meaning ie the front bolts have further to go till they get thread were as the rear hubs dont so a 5mm spacer on the rear makes no difference to bolt length :)

  17. hi the over 2k buzzer is meant to come on if the oil pressure is below 2bar ish at 2k its probably just the switch on the oil filter housing theres 2 oil switches and one oil temp sender there the oil pressure switches are a different colour but look the same apart from that first try swapping the wires round somebody may have connected them the wrong way round if not maybe the switch is stuffed you also should take the switch out (anyone ) and test the oil pressure first .
  18. i have never ever figured out what its there for its part of the side light circuit but if you live supply the circuit to the side light s they all work so you dont need it i have fitted a few and never used it just remove it hope this helps
  19. well at least its not holed i always spray the underneath of mine in gear oil and engine oil mix , its in the chassis inner wheel arches(stripped the rear panels out etc) , dripping out of the subframes etc you get stinking dirty when you work on the car but better that then wire worm.
