weird you should mention S4 i just sold one it was nice as hell but i always worried about the turbos going down etc etc.
-
you can always come down in price but you cant go up, there is no way if its that good i would let it go for less than 4k .

hi i put a d cat on my vr and it made a sort of not a blow noise but an empty exhaust noise when putting my foot down , i dont think they like the straight pipe in the front , i ended up putting the cat back on is it turns out that the cat i took off was a steel pertformance cat , so the car ran exactly the same with out it so on it went and the noise disapeared and the exhaust sounded like a quality item again , not like an old peugeot 205 they made the noise too.

so if you fitted the early control box on the later car would this make the drivers window go up one touch on a late car, or am i barking up the wrong tree.

one for each foot :D

hey there not all bad , mechanics that is did you know you only get a job with the AA because you are no good at being a mechanic slightest problem and its " where would you like your car taken to madam/sir " and as for your engine specialist he sounds like a top man :cuckoo: may be he is a good valet :) -

the diodes are in work but i dont think there rated as such well they are but theres no visible rating or coding that i could see, i just went to maplins and asked for a couple of diodes that would carry at least 10 amps, that will cover any bulb that you are going to use in dip beam. 140 was cheap i know mine were slightly more as they were the black ones and no one in the uk i could find stocked them, but the chrome ones were still 200+ i think they all come left h/drive just uk stockists generally slide the plates for you , not that its hard with a long phillips screw driver .
-
less of the chav they come in black you know :D theres headlamp covers on them before you say they dont fit properly round the edges.
-
mine were black versions from germany they cost me 240 in the end delivered,( from german ebay its was oemgermanparts ) the h7 hids in a 4500 k cost me 75, and the osram bulbs also h7 cost 15 so that 330 all together oh and i uprated the headlight loom but that did not cost me anything as i had all the bits from various donners and did it in work.

i intend to i chopped in a 350 raptor for it so it should be a decent hike in power :D

Just had a look on E-Bay and spotted a set of European Headlights and Rear Cluster to comply with European Regulations. http://tinyurl.com/6cxbzt What's the problem with UK Rear Clusters?? Worried even more now as I have In-Pro smoked rears and don't fancy paying to replace them! there probably on the fog lamp , because its on the wrong side on uk spec for abroad, but most after market lights operate the 2 fogs so no worries there .

bugger i cant get to inters this year i have just bought a new toy so the funds have disapeared oh well theres always next year :)
-
masking tape is cheaper than , left hand drive headlights
-
Mad sods :cuckoo:
-
my take is also stay away from standard lights with after market hid kits its got a terrible beam pattern , but the inpros have a crisp sharp beam and are absolutely faultless with hids in , but always use a good quality kit if you get it for 30 quid off ebay excpect 30 quids worth of hids :salute:
-
all you have to do is tape the clear triangle piece on the lens with some masking tape or insulation tape , you can by proper masks but there is no need , the triangle being masked just get rid of the dip beam kick and leaves you with a flat beam , so no dazzling to oncoming traffic . ps . you mask the clear ish triangle on the left of the headlight at the bottom as you look at it.
