I found this on another site and thought I'd share it. Original post I tried it but mine was showing like ~80 at idle, around 150 at redline in 3rd... I think mine shows different numbers because its American, or maybe mine is just seriously messed up.

Why yes, that is sunshine, but unfortunately the picture was taken back over the summer :( I'm really leaning on the first ones right now because they're about $50 cheaper, and I've found a guitar I'm going to attemp to purchase.
-
Looks great. I might have to do that on mine.

I'm looking to buy some new wheels for my car. They're only 15" because I just bought new 15" tires about 4k miles ago, and I can't afford to retire 17" wheels because I'm getting my g-lader rebuilt. Anyways, which looks better to you:
-
Yeah, the guys on the boards where I took that from were saying he's already got the second one in.
-
Hitman maybe? Thanks for all the stories guys. It's the morning after and I'm still a wee bit shaken, but I'm definately doing better. It would've made my heart break to see one of the few G60's that still runs go down.

I'm still a bit shaken up, but I'm feeling better. I also used to tear around, but when I had my first serious accident last January I really slowed down. Tonight I was doing the speed limit of 40mph. Much more and it probably would've had a different outcome.

After what I experienced tonight, I feel as if I can maneuver around many obstacles in the road, so I feel safe in that aspect. I've not heard many encounters of accidents besides what I read tonight, but I usually feel pretty safe in it.

I want to open this up by saying how lucky I am that there was minimal ice on the road, that I know how to drive, and even though Im not Christian and don't believe in God, I think something was watching over me tonight. This might be jumbled because I'm still shaking very badly and I'm having trouble processing everything. I was driving home from the grocery store about 30 minutes ago. I neared an intersection with a green light. I was in the right lane, and there was an SUV sitting next to me in the left lane. I see a car approach the intersection to make a right turn. They stop, so I don't think anything of it. Wrong. As I enter the intersection stupid moron decides to pull into my lane. I slam on my brakes, hit the clutch, the horn, and yank it hard into the left lane. I make it in without hitting the other car and manage to fall behind the SUV. But what I didn't see was that ther was someone behind that. I didn't hit them because they saw it happenng and slowed, thank God. I swerve back into the right lane and feel my car go into a slide. I quickly yank the wheel around to correct it and I get it straightened out and back into control. To cool my nerves I decide to go and wash my car. As I pull into the car was, the attendant comes to my window. "This got one of those VR6's in it?" He asks. "Nope, it's a G60" I say, still shaking, as I fish money out of my wallet. "Whats this sound like poppin' 3k?" I goose it to 4k. "Sounds like a chainsaw runnin' up." We joke and I tip the dude a $5. And then I get back to my room. I call my dad to tell him my story, and of course all I get is a "You should've been more careful and tried to stop" lecture. I didn't even get a "glad you're okay" or anything.

Geez, I thought it was bad that I bottomed out whenever I hit a speed bump  -
1992 Dodge Grand Caravan, sold when I bought the Porsche 1987 Porsche 944, which is still in the family, but it has been garaged for the winter so I can work on restoring it. 1990 Corrado G60, my DD/fixer-upper Last winter I also drove a 1985 Saab 900 SPG, but it was totalled near the end of January. I finished out the rest of the winter in another '85 Saab 900, which is now my father's restoration project.

I just went up north last night and took these pictures on my way back. I wanted to share them, but didn't want to open a new thread. comments/suggestions always welcome. -
Yeah, we have cleaned it and re-greased it, tried it on two different motors, and it made no difference. Where is the relay for it? My bentley manual doesn't show where it is, and I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Yeah, I have 15"s on mine. At first I hated them with a passion, but I slowly warmed up to them. Then I moved and realized that almost ever third car has the same ones, and I think a black or a dark gray would look better with my red/black car.

Smart man. I live at a university so I have to keep it in a public lot. Even though it's gated and you have to have a certain ID to get in, it's still always getting trashed.

I got my first one when I was driving to an amusement park with my friend. One of the attendants at the gate to the parking lot starts shouting loudly "V-dub!" He does the hand thing from the commercials where he makes the VW emblem with his hands (not sure if it was aired overseas). The man who took my money says "Ignore him, he's crazy." I simply reply with "He knows his stuff." I rev and chirp the tires a little bit as I speed into the lot. The second one came from when I was driving my friend back to her school. It's in a small country town, and when I was entering the town some kid in a minivan makes a left turn around me. His hand is hanging out the window and he's shouting "Yeah, V-dub!" Then two days ago I was sitting in a fuel station. Someone pulls into the pump next to me. As I am getting back in my car he is getting out. "Nice dub," he says. All I can say is "Thanks." He proceeds to tell me how he has a 2000 GTI, and he begins to explain to me what a GTI is  All I said was "Cool," and drove off. Then there's all the slander for having an unreliable G60. I got an award early October at a big VW show for having the most unreliable car there

The front needs to be a bit more rounded out, but it is definately obvious that it uses the superstructure.

+ a K&N Air filter & you'll gain upto 20hp!!! Its true!!!
Traverse replied to DEL VR6's topic in General Car Chat
The previous owner of my Corrado put a K&N on it. I've never had it on the dyno machine so I can't tell what I'm getting with it, and I've never ran with the original on so I can't tell any difference. It's completely jerry rigged on it though... Instead of mounting brackets or anything, it's held on with zip ties. -
Yeah, whites and blacks are the best for me. Although I have that luck where all of my cars end up being the same color- red with black interior
-
Looks nice. I'm unfamiliar with the 16v motor... Is it a 2.0L or just a 1.8?
-
I'm also in a bad spot financially. I've thought of selling my Porsche because the corrado would be much more practical as I can drive it year round without problem, even though it hasn't been reliable. Currently I'm paying insurance, I'm paying for my school (room, tuition, etc), gas, food, all that jazz. So if I sold the Porsche it would help me for another semester, or I could use it to fix the Corrado. But like you guys, there's the woman who loves it too much to buy it herself but won't let me get rid of it
