its dosnt bother me at all i was just reall disapointed when my friends 172 kept up with me :cuckoo: , its totally imacualte and on done about 20k but it stupidly fast it really annoys me, least ive got the cam and 65mm pulley to add on :clap: shud turn the 172 smile upside down then haha

ive had a scoot about ebay and i could get a omex rev limiter with laugh control for around 80 but im skint so another option is preferd lol

is there an easy way to fit on as few times in first in went off the scale in the wet and what a lovely noise it makes :shock: , any quick and easy way to get it to limit? regards mick

well the jets come with fire and ice interior and mine purple and black so suit perfect 8)

finaly it worked well what ya think, ive got them on the car now :D

darren straight swapped me for my standard pipe, its a standard plastic pipe modded with a large k and n on and a blanking plate

the car has also went completely insane this week and is drinking a tenner in like 30 mile, i thikn this must be due to the face the lamda is disconected :sad: me credit card maxed out of puttin petrol in while ive been off work for hols :shrug:

there must be a leak thou as its ran higher boost than that before after set-up does this mean i have to go over every pipe and tighten them etc :confused4:

what ya mean by black box on output? it has an rsr outlet port does this replace what your refering too? regards mick

Since ive fitted the boost delete mod to my rado ive noticed upon revs rising the same whistle noise i get upon dipping the clutch when not at full boost, is this normal as my car runs a a 68mm pulley and stage 4 charger and only runs 10psi boost which i thought was low, boost leak? I also want to open the ecu up and check the stage 4 SNS chip is present before i add the cam and 65mm pulley this week but i removed the one screw and it wouldnt come out :confused4: , anywa any help apreciated as im not going to fit the new parts till i kno the cars all ready for them, and the low boost worries me regards mick :confused4:

i opted for the newman cam anyway, i done a little digging into the snapping issues and it basically a load of rubbish, most the snapping was down to external influences like other parts of the engine coming loose, and it was all race cars it happend on anyway except for one rado i think which had done like 160k anywa :salute: , there has been a big fuss kicked up because there trying their best to basically change camshaft sponsors for new season thats all, well from what ive found out anyway 8) , orderd a 65mm pulley too so should have little me pull in the old girl after this week :clap:

me bro had 2 elises a race tuned s1 and an s2 and i loved driving both of them, handling was awesome, anyone who says they dont like em is just jelious im my opinion he used his as daily drivers and they were mint on petrol as there so light

apparently these camshafts do not require a vernier pulley, and give an increase any opinions on these as ive never messsed with aftermarket cams and also if the engine will take it in its stride, as i not gunna get it set-up again and im about to fit a 65mm pulley soon anyway it is chipped with SNS stage 4? regards mick

anyone got a set of these? mine came today to replace side repeaters and they look brilliant, as there black and purple just like the jet :clap: i though 40 quid was bit steep for them like

oh yeah the jet is back with a vengance, after a long day darren sussed she had no ecu relay and the wiring for the engine was about as correct as dale wintons sexual preferences, she runs totally mint now and flies compared to before, so the old girl just needs a ltitle bodywork tlc and shes ready for the shows again 8)

doesnt rub at all now ive took all the slack off the springs lovely low ride and now catching at all :clap:

2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdfDSC00077.JPG[/attachment:2amahjui] Just fitted the coilovers today and looks well i think 8) doin the bottom arms and plugs and oil tomoro ready for gwerks as it booked in next weekend, it also me bday so i gunna go on the razzle dazzle while im there see what the nightlife like, so hopefully next couple of weeks the jet will be back to its former glory :D
