I'd always go OEM mate. Unless your tracking it or something? What's happening with the valver now?
  2. Bollox it's the wrong time for me or I'd have had it off you Karl. Mind you blackberry isnt my thing but I reckon the condition of the car sells it regardless. Good luck mate!
  3. What an absolute dick. Why would anyone want to drive around with their religion on their plate lol. Oh and a muslimah is a female Muslim.

I doubt it. My point in my original post was most guys would rather a newer engined rado ie a 20v with a ko4 which will make a comfortable 280 brake and when these come up for sale they sell for less then 5k these days. To ask 7.5k for a rado in joe public's eye you'd need something seriously rowdy. While this car may have great engineering it's not something that's generaly appreciated without the figures to back it unless you are of course a true corrado nut etc but how many people are these days? Just my humble opinion... 7.5k buys you a hell of a lot of machinery these days.

X2... With 300 bhp id say it's worth near asking price. Anything less then 270-280 forget it IMO.
  6. Just my opinion but audi is no better then vw despite the slightly improved build quality. As far as driving experience is concerned other then the rs models I think they're pretty poor for a 'prestige' brand. Anyway I'd rather a passat cc anyday. But I will also say that I'd rather a merc or BMW over any vw/Audi. They're just a more accomplished car and will always be regarded as being more prestigious in most circles.
  7. Sweet! Can't beat fresh paint!
  8. It's never going to go away! While my last storm was a pretty complete car it wasn't mine if that makes sense. I want to do a proper sump up rebuild to my specs. Will be a real long build though. Just trying to decide between VR and valver.
  9. Agreed. The VR does have an addictive character though and the sound is just immense. I've been going back and forward with regards to whether I should get a VR or 16v as my next one. Next one will be a long term top to bottom rebuild though.. There's plenty of bits and bobs to look out for, a quick search will reveal all.
  10. Lol guy was a tool anyway.
  11. Looks great. Drop me a pm when you sell the wheels. :)
  12. Yep I'm addictive on edition. Even if Waynos' old thread didn't exist and I didn't know the original price I'd say that cars not worth a touch over 2.5k.
  13. I just read the same on edition. Aparently the car was a seat Leon and the steering wheel came off.
  14. As above, check the thread! http://www.edition38.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=456767&pid=4604286&st=0entry4604286 Aparently tint film and and some decent wheels can add 3.5k to a corrados value. Lol
  15. This. If you do do it go for 4300k unless you want to have blatant blue light which is just tacky IMO.
  16. Tint headlights and fogs or leave both clear IMO. Also, I'd say either run the plate in the factory position or lose it all together. Does the car no favours being where it is now. Rest looks superb IMO.
  17. I used to love this look and think the handling was badass untill i realised that the ride would get so crashy that my tyres would actually hop off the ground thus leaving me with 0 traction. F*ck that. I still appreciate a naughty drop but with proper tyre sizes as that gives you some compliance as you say. I like looking at 'stanced' cars but would never have one. Thing is, what was regarded as good stance 2-3 years ago is now regarded as wack and jacked up lol. Honestly though 195/40 are a horrible size tyre on 17's, they're not as bad on 16's though. Like I said go for 205/40. You'd be suprised, with rolled arches and spacers etc you can still get the car sitting nice.
  18. Ok, I had 195/40's on my 17" azev a's and my storm had fk konigsports which provide a more comfortable ride all day long in comparison to the kw v1's (yes I've had both) but the car still rode like sh*t. Honestly rubber band tyres ruin the entire drive and the fact that the wheels are 17's doesnt help. 205/40's are more compliant and about as big as you'd want to go tyre wise but ultimately 16's offer the best compromise. Btw 205/40's will have a skinnier side wall then a 195/45 iirc. I had 205/40 yoko parada spec2's on 17x7.5's at one point and the tyre just looked like a normal low profile-ish tyre with a very square side wall. Rode nice IMO.
  19. Like I said on edition, as far as show going corrados are concerned this is IMO one of the best in the world. Personally the carbon dash is too much but it fits in as it's a show car etc.
  20. Same here. I'm happy to take on jobs around London/Essex but would charge a fair bit more to be honest as corrado's have very tough paint.
  21. Nice work mate. Saw the car parked at Nando's. Need to drop it a bit mate lol.
  22. Sounds good brake lines I did when I had her so that's one expense you can tick off. Cost me a bomb I remember!
