tbh id quite like to keep it simple lol. The cambelt was changed 3k miles ago!
-
Hi guys, really want to do this swap asap, just wondering does anything else need to be replaced at the same time? Thanks, Abdul :D
-
LOL... link up sometime man, need to see this thing in the making!!
-
Ive only ever seen 2 other corrados driving about (other than on route to shows) in my year of corrado ownership so god knows where they're all being hidden! I think quite a few are getting broken for parts aswell which doesn't help!
-
Pictures brother pictures!!!!
-
Nope you'll need spigots, i cant remember what the actual CB is but its not 57.1...
-
Fair point lol. Funny thing is, after the initial leakage from somewhere around the lower hose its not leaked again and i drove it to work and back. I even checked the expansion tank and tbh it was pretty much at the same level as before so what the hell was it that my car was leaking? lol Thanks Abdul

Hi guys, recently changed my top hose and just now i think the bottom one has split! What other hoses are worth changing while im at it? Cheers Abdul EDIT: Read 3rd post please :) Re-Edit: Took it back to the garage and i gave it a good bit of stick on the way there and there are absolutely no leaks at all so we've left it assuming it was a puddle of water or something lol.

Im in the same boat as u, full time student, part time job and my valver rapes me so im thinking of a vr or a merc with a V8  Seriously
-
Honestly, i dont understand why u need economy if its a second car? I mean the corrado is really impressively slow in 16v guise considering the noise it makes so i cant even imagine how an 8v would be. Buy a VR imo. Im thinking of one  If not that, buy a valver with a straight shell and drop an ABF lump in, will be smoother with abit more torque than a 9a and will out perform the 8v with ease tbh.

YES PLEASE to the pagani (already got a rado lol), the lambo reventon thingy is incredibly ugly.

New lights look awesome, they're crystals tinted red right? Look much nicer than stock lights tinted red... I still want DBP!!!!!!! -
x2 Tbh, if you're keeping your car just get the hole welded and painted over.. looks soo much better than any of the above solutions.
-
I know, im like a whore for crack (crack being the rado lol) these days  I washed it after 3 weeks yesterday and tbh i was amazed at how nice it is (normally its washed everyweek, in the summer maybe twice lol)... i thought id let it get dirrty so id appreciate just how nice it is when i clean it. Oh and i feel for u with the whole 206 thing, they're f'in horrid to drive! Get some pics up of the G...

Imo its just an Ice grey violet thing  , mines acting up at the mo too, still haven't cleaned my throttle body, been really busy lately but hopefully it'll be done by this weekend!
-
Do it. Its the only way when you're running 9s etc..
-
Yup yup, i want something i wont mod etc and cheap to run for a few months. :)
-
I didn't paint the inserts mate. http://www.lamin-x.co.uk/ Oh and the colour isn't exactly rare but its not as common as some other colours. You dont see many about but there are 2 Vr's for sale in this colour at the mo on pistonheads, other than those and 4 others on here ive not seen any. Going for the dreaded MOT on tuesday, will have to raise the car up as i cant get full lock at the mo... After that it'll be up for sale. I still want to save up for the next car etc so want to roll about in something cheaper to run and insure for the next few months.
-
Ahh you bought Sukh's old corrado? The bronze one? I tried to force my mate to swap his A3 for it but it didnt happen in the end. Well bad news for moi, my hours at work half just been halfed due clashing with my uni timetable so the rado might go up for sale prematurely unless i can sort out something ASAP! Just when my finances settle they F up all over again! Rado still needs a damn service too!!
-
Here we go again... Youth of today! :norty: I was just chatting to a mate about this and looking at pics of my old A3, suddenly im asking myself WHY THE FECK did i sell that car? lol, it may have been boring but it was a hell of a car regardless lol. Tbh, rado insurance makes me sick, with my 3rd ncb coming up more cars are becoming insurable and it suddenly make no sense to pour money into my 15 yr old coupe/hatchback while paying 1.5k to insure it when i could have something with twice the power and pay less on insurance, do u know what i mean? I love the car n all but its begining to make less sense everytime i think about it. I hate insurance.
-
Thanks dude, see the problem is, i cant settle on one car, ive had my eyes on something since i bought this and tbh i dont think ill be keeping it much longer. Its been up for sale before but im going to keep it till i get my 3rd ncb and then most likely get rid. If i do for whatever reason keep it there'll be a nice sum of moneys saved up for the new car that i can spend on this lol. On your 8s id go with 205/40s tbh. Will look nicer than mine and be comfy, u can obviously stick to the 195's if u want but unless your running super stance i wouldn't bother.
-
Sorry for your loss J, good luck with the move though, cant wait for updates on the rado!
-
Good man, i have the TX's on my car, haven't once greased em in the 7 months that they've been on and they collars are perfectly free, not even close to seizing and the ride is sexy as is the handling! I had the car about an inch and a half off the floor at some points and still had 40mm or so left on the coilys so they go plenty low too. :D
-
I love how on page 1 your to-do list was had about 5 or 6 things only lool. How things have changed eh! This is super lush mate, hope you get it running right asap without raping your wallet! Lovely colour btw :luvlove:

Cheers mate, im well proud of my cars bodywork lol. A straight shell was pretty much my priority when buying it, unfortunately alot of valvers have shabby bodywork for some reason :confused4: I neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed spacers!!!!!!!! Broke as*ed atm, just bought road tax, mot some time this week or early next week and service due lol. Once they're sorted ill get some H&R spacers on all round, 15 and 20mm hubcentrics should do the job. :D
