Gutted!!! The first day I'm not in my C since it's been back on the road and I spot another. On the A444 in Coventry around 7.45 this morning, black VR with badgless grille, L*** KVX. Sat behind me (I was in the gf's silver astra). I moved over to let you pass coming to an island. When I realised you were turning right, I opened my window and stuck my head out, although not sure you noticed, lol.

Didn't see the Reg no, but saw a red C on the road between wellesbourne and Warwick today at about 4.30pm. I wasn't in my C though.

Does anyone have a spare drivers side electric window motor they fancy selling? If so, let me know how much you want for it, and if possible, an idea of costing to post it to Wellesbourne in Warwickshire. Cheers

I'll have a pair too. For future reference, one of my mates at work has all the equipment etc to do vinyls and stickers, so I could get quotes from him. Some of his handy work can be seen on the Vw T5 forums.

The funny thing is, the Mini One/Cooper has pretty much the same wheelbase as a Land rover freelander!! My mates mum had one of each, and I swear, the length of the wheelbase was the same, you could see it when they were parked side by side. I'm just puzzled as to how it can still be called a 'mini'!!

Having had a 318 ci E36, I'd say of the two bimmers, go for the E30. I was going to sell the C and bought that as a replacement as I wanted something RWD, but saw sense and decided to do the work to put the C back on the road. I'm with Kev though, pick yourself up a Pug 205 gti 1.9, great fun, very quick, and some good mods to make them insane. And they'll still embarrass a lot of newer bigger cars!!

Ben, I'd like to think the abusive emails weren't from people on here, but unless someone has posted the details on other forums (which I didn't want!!), then unfortunately, we have some pretty stupid arseholes here!! Either way, I'm still disappointed. I will ask for the names of the people that sent abusive emails though, maybe they'll feel a bit embarrassed with themselves if named on here, although somehow, I doubt it!!!

Apologies, I've had to remove my post with contact details as it seems like there's been a far greater response than i was expecting. The number of requests quoting my name etc far outweighs the number of people that pm'd me, and as such i've got a bit of a telling off. I'm on my 2nd 16v, and would happily stay with them. The misses had a VR, but she prefers my valver. Just depends whether you want something that's fast in a straight line, or something you can throw round bends quicker. If it's the latter, the valver is better. Oh, and if you're in need of any grey trim, let me know. We're in the process of replacing my interior with a black interior. I'll only be putting the grey up for sale on here sometime anyway.

***update*** Demad had actually exceeded availability, however, one of the guys looking after this in the UK is one of our senior marketing team......and one of the lads I play football with and get on well with. If I can have a definite number of how who actually left their details, he's going to try his best to ensure the names I put forward definitely get their order. He has said though, only people who have left their details via our website will get them as he'll have to cross reference against this list. No promises, but we'll see what we can do.

Just been speaking to my mate in marketing. This promotion was being run by our european h/o in brussels. There had been a 'massive' demand for the gauges, so it may be a while before they arrive with you. Our offices have been getting a lot of calls, and we're looking into it. My mate isn't actually dealing with it but has given me the names of the two guys that are. I'll get on to them, and if they can help, I'll need you to pm me with your name and address details to them. But hopefully you will receive your gauges soon. If they're the digital type, I can confirm they are very good and extremely accurate. I use them to conduct tyre examinations, as do our other engineers.

I've just been on to my mate in our marketing dept. He's now off until tuesday, so I'll get on to him again then. I'll keep you all posted though.

Jeez!!! How could they do that to a C?!!! From now on, I'll only go to burger king!!! Why couldn't they have just trashed a civic or a corsa or just anything but a C!!! Oh well, makes our cars slightly rarer now!! lol
