Nah, unfortunately not. We were going to try to get along to the Berkley Castle show, but we're not able to now. Postage shouldn't be very much, I'll get a quote and let you know, just in case you're interested. Sent from my HTC Desire S using Tapatalk

I'm loving Fu Manchu again at the moment. In particular, the albums 'the action is go', 'California Crossing' and 'Signs of Intimate Power'. Stoner rock at its finest!! Great driving music too. Sent from my HTC Desire S using Tapatalk

Seems like a daunting task, but in all honesty. I'd just say, make sure you have lots of sticky labels and plenty of patience and you'll be fine. Me n the missus did the one in my old C, probably took us about 10 hours in all (with a weeks gap waiting for a new black dash to arrive), start to finish. As we took the dash out, we labelled every switch/wire etc so we knew where it went when we had to reconnect it all. It is handy having a spare pair of hands though. If you'd been local, I'd have offered to give you a hand. Sent from my HTC Desire S using Tapatalk

I have heard skyline isn't very good. So you wouldn't recommend it then?!! lol. I just finished watching Land of the Dead. 9/10, but then I love all the George A Romero 'dead' films. Can't beat a good zombie flick!! Sent from my HTC Desire S using Tapatalk

I've seen Fanboys, I thought it was really good. I'd agree, 7/10 is a fair score. Sent from my HTC Desire S using Tapatalk

1991 Corrado 1.8 16v - ideal project or breaking for parts
Grim1 replied to Grim1's topic in Ebay and Misc
Well, she sold. Unfortunately, she's now bring broken for parts. Kinda gutted as we had someone who wanted her as a winter project. Still, can't be helped. Turns out, the cam belt had gone on the engine. Sent from my HTC Desire S using Tapatalk -
Gutted for you mate, she's a lovely car. If I'd had the cash, I'd have happily paid 2k. Sent from my HTC Desire S using Tapatalk

1991 Corrado 1.8 16v - ideal project or breaking for parts
Grim1 replied to Grim1's topic in Ebay and Misc
Doing about 70 along the a46, there was a very quick splutter like I'd run out of fuel (which I hadn't, lol), then the engine just cut out. Coasted about 1/4 mile still in gear, and the rest is history really. I was gutted!!! What's up with yours? Sent from my HTC Desire S using Tapatalk -
1991 Corrado 1.8 16v - ideal project or breaking for parts
Grim1 replied to Grim1's topic in Ebay and Misc
The silly thing is, the engine died on me the day before went on holiday. Had it not died, we were going to fit new wheels when we got back. We were going to go with either steelies or a set of black Lenso RS5's. But thanks, she is still a nice enough car. Sent from my HTC Desire S using Tapatalk -
1991 Corrado 1.8 16v - ideal project or breaking for parts
Grim1 replied to Grim1's topic in Ebay and Misc
I know, lol, the missus wrote the ad, and was only when I saw it and told she realised. Bless her though. Fingers crossed, we've got nearly 30 people watching it, had someone round last night who's very keen and always had mk2 golfs and wants this as a winter project. Also got someone from the forum coming to look, he's also said he wants a project. Ideally, I only really want to sell of its going to be a project and given the tlc I just don't have time to give, as she's got a lot of sentimental value, and I'd hate it if someone did break her (especially if they say they won't!!) lol. Not really wanting to break her to be honest as we need the space. In terms of plastics though, follow the eBay link and view our other items. Sent from my HTC Desire S using Tapatalk -
So, with VW action this weekend, ate there many people from here going, and anyone from Warwick area heading along on Sunday? We're thinking of going Sunday but thought it would be more fun driving over to the pod with other Rados. Sent from my HTC Desire S using Tapatalk

Hi, Here's a link to my old Rado that we need to move on quite quickly as neighbours are starting to have a moan. If you check our other items, we also have a load of black plastics listed as well. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1991-VOLKSWAGEN-CORRADO-1-8-16V-BURGANDY-/160643265138?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item256715b272 Open to any sensible offers on the car. It does still have MOT left on it, and had lots of work done on the front suspension by Stealth in January to get it through the MOT. any questions, please feel free to ask. Cheers, Ian

Hi all, We're after a fully working, fully intact sunroof (late spec with 6 wires). Outer colour coded panel not needed ad we have a good one already. Cheers, Ian Sent from my HTC Desire S using Tapatalk

In terms of looks, each to their own. If I were at work, I could tell you exactly what would be 'approved' sizes for rims, but most of the time what you're looking to do is outside the approved sizes set by ETRTO. Even from a professional view though, I'd not want to recommend something and put my name to it. As for never hearing of these things going wrong, believe me, there are instances of it happening. And when it does, the tyres seem to get blamed. Sent from my HTC Desire S using Tapatalk

Looks terrible in my opinion. And I won't even start on safety etc!! lol Sent from my HTC Desire S using Tapatalk

If you're after a good project, I've a 1.8 16v that could be worth a punt. Just has an engine problem at the mo, although still has mot and had about £700 of front suspension work done at stealth for this last mot. Give me a shout if you're interested. Sent from my HTC Desire S using Tapatalk

The missus had her old VR towed by the RAC to a local Vw/Audi centre as the RAC guy had broken the water pump and lost all its water. When the car was returned, driven by the RAC guy, the engine had at some point been cooked and had more miles added than should have been. So blatantly, the car had been driven without any water. Subsequently, following that, she had no end of problems, so sold the car. She was gutted. Sent from my HTC Desire S using Tapatalk

I refuse to use ECP, every time I bought parts from them, they were the wrong parts. With my old C, they gave me the wrong air filter. When I took it back, they kicked up a fuss saying that vw never made a 1.8 16v, only an 8v. Sent from my HTC Desire S using Tapatalk
