  1. Does anyone know the part number for the KR 1.8 16v cold start valve? or if a mk3 2l gti one is the same?
  2. tx for me too, can't believe how flat my car is in the corners now, thought the ride was a bit hard at first but it soon softened up, probably the new mounts.
  3. hehe those corsa doors, i can just picture his friends crouching in the toilet position on the side of the street as he drives past and picks them up like that new angelina jolie film
  4. personally i would try and avoid the jetex exhaust if you can, maybe try and get a vr6/2.0 16v magnex custom fitted if it's possible. i don't know if mine is just particularly badly fitted but it knocks on the rear axle (especially with passengers) and then starts to vibrate against the bumper. (i did get a garage to refit it but it still knocked with passengers and soon worked itself loose and knocks constant again) the tail pipe looks good but it's only a tail pipe piece welded to the two inch pipe (halfords style imo) which makes it sound a bit shitty, and on closer inspection you can easily see the skinny pipe inside the tail piece (messy) that's not it either, if you stand back and look at the car, the rear box sits way too low to the ground and theirs a support bracket welded to the bottom which stands out a mile and ruins the look of the rear (imo again) one more thing to rant about is the rear bracket which had to be fitted up side down to get the tailpipe sitting in the bumper cut out. very poor exhaust in my opinion, you can tell by the amount of words i wrote :) can post a pic if you like
  5. it's been mentioned a few times, but most people just haven't got a clue what it is, some people think it's a super expensive new car, need to get a private plate. 8) i think the bttf car must have influenced my love of the corrado somehow, anyone seen a corrado with gullwing doors?
  6. good work, would be so cool if we could test different wheels/colours, a lot of work tho i bet. has anyone seen the corrado on forza motor sport x-box 360, made mine into a 900bhp 4wd beast that did 0-60 in about 2.18 seconds, my mates got bored of it being the quickest and best handling car on the game, so they sold it while i was out of the room.
  7. just to clear this up, i had another look underneath the seat and found the 535 part number and corrado text, the seller told me they were recovered by mj interiors, they still have recaro text on them though which looks like it was printed silver at some point. the bar-code sticker under the seat has a date of 15.09.89, very early seats. two way electric adjustable non heated
  8. i already changed the matrix luckily (in the winter too) bit of a pain, didn't take my dash completely out tho as some people have said
  9. 8) thanks very good information, ye i bought all the available hoses at euro car parts, i thought i might as well replace them all and i still didn't get the right one :mad2: i seen those hoses on e-bay i think, i'll have a read and try and sort it out, nice one
  10. just had a look underneath the seats, and firstly i found £3.01p :) and as dinkus said "no plug no heat" their is a position for two plugs tho, they must have been thinking ahead. did noticed a sticker reading corrado. does that make them the right seats for the age of the car? 91 H reg my switches are ok i think, maybe need some contact cleaner, cheers for the offer anyway.
  11. thanks, don't be jealous, my engine sounds like it's about to fall apart, and i have no spare money to fix it, so i havn't hardly used them yet. i guess it's probably not worth looking for the plugs but i'll have quick look anyway. i don't like the sound of hideously expensive, maybe a good thing their not electric. i knew somebody would know just by looking at them. 8)
  12. hi, does anyone know the part numbers/names for the water hoses that attach to the heater matrix on a 1.8 16v. would be very grateful, been two winters without heat! if i get on it now i might sort it by autumn
  13. probably the wrong time of year to look into this, anyway... i bought these seats off the forum. when i was installing them i noticed they had what looks like heater elements underneath, i know a lot of corrado seats are heated, but i'm not sure what year car my seats come from etc.. at the time when i bought them somebody said their from a golf rally, but the seller told me different. could somebody with real knowlage help me out pleas? maybe i'l plug my heater matrix back in sometime this year too!
  14. a bit of this could help too- http://www.adhere.co.uk/productpages/443auto.html
  15. not sure if it's the best for deadening noise, but i've used the new style foam carpet underlay for a bit of sound insulation, it weighs next to nothing and can be cut easy to any shape with good scissors, it sticks extreamly well with spray adhesive too! it's made for sound insulation so it should do the job, some of it comes with the -db ratings too. don't go to carpetright they rip people off on underlays and sell the oldskool heavy rubber shit. can you guess i'm a carpet fitter yet?
  16. i used carpet spray adhesive on mine, a little bit messy but if you can't see it, don't suppose it matters.
  17. hi, post edited, because i just noticed the definitive exhaust thread, I'll put my opinions in their. is it possible to mix and match different makes of exhaust systems, for example could i swap my dtm scorpion back box (full system) for a magnex back box? without needing custom pipe work? i haven't got the scorpion system to hand at the moment (otherwise I'd check it out myself) has anyone done anything along these lines before? thanks

    Paint Codes

i can't see any silver ones, so hears mine it's Diamond Metalic silver, it would be good to have pictures of every paint code, think everyones been wandering off to look at pictures of G60SC_Stoney's lovely dark burgandy pearl effect car, very nice. diamond metalic silver, paint code:L97A
  19. these are mine with different seat pad design.
  20. wouldn't mind an answer to this too, i have bbs rc's and i'd like to know if i can refurb them?
  21. good to read you'r back on the road, i know the feeling, iv'e only done 1000 miles since my last mot  i'm picking my car up from mot tomoro :) on coilovers :D
  22. cheers dave, got my repair kit today, very good instructions, and a much better fit than the one i repaired my driver door with (kit from ebay). saved a full mot retest, thanks. got to say after cutting my hand three times i ended up using a different screw from the one sent. philips or cross head screwdriver was much safer, i used a shorter screw with a thinner point, and it grabbed without any hassle or too much pressure. felt a bit like i was been setup to slash my own wrist! you sadistic man dave! :)
  23. theres a 16v tuning guide on hear, go to the board index, near the top you will see a link saying 'knowlage base' click on that. then click on the engine bay link on the left, and their you have it, all the info you need. has anyone gone for a nissan sunny 2.0 gti?
  24. thanks, hopefully just need a new belt then, my friends always advising me to buy stuff i don't need, keep telling him he's just a panel beater. thank god for the Corrado Forum. My alternator only starts to whine when i switch the headlights on, would this mean it's more likely the alternator itself? it's making a few knocking sounds too.
  25. thought it might give a few extra horses :) ive got a sub/amp 16:9/amp nothing too big, but i do a lot of short journeys, so i thought a 90amp alternator might put more power back in the battery, quicker? i'l have a look out for those battery's next time cheers,
