Finally found some time to work on the car and managed to get a fair bit ,, Will let the pics do the talking for now.. Wheels been inspected before they went into hibernation And back to engine work, Oil return pipe welded into sump ,still need to clean it up and paint it but checked and it cleares the drive shaft nicely,, As it stands now Plan to get a bit more done before new year..

All sorted now hopefully thanks ,,mines a 93 car so hopefully the 92, should fit ..

As title must have all bungs and clips please ,,cheap as poss.. Thanks

Wheels look great (O.Z Vegas )? I had to sell mine to get bigger brakes on mine as even 280s didn't fit without shaving a lot of meat off the calipers..

Not much of an update as haven't had much time to work on it lately ,but I have bought and fitted some bosch 440 green tops and spa turbo adjustable fpr that sits in place of the 4 bar item .. Wheels are off and going to be split for a full refurb before they get used..thinking of colour coding the centres as there a bit blingy at the moment,,

Thanks,,,I am going to fit a 600x300x76mm cooler with inlet and outlets at the top ,boost pipe from turbo down the drivers side of engine and then a nice short 180'pipe for inlet ,,that's the plan anyway ? I've ordered a 90' bend for the turbo intake to see if it clears the brake reservoir rest will be 4" ss pipe 4" maf and aem dry filter so the maf doesn't get damaged by oil... Hope it all goes to plan,,

Slow progress on this due to family commitments but things are starting to take shape! Engine has been fully stripped and built back up now and is now sat in the bay so I can work out what size intercooler I can squeeze in and how much room il have for everything else.. I got a 6 puck clutch so hopefully don't have to worry about that slipping ,, Few pics,, There's a lot more room than I was expecting so really pleased with how it's going ,just need to find some more time to get on with it! Ye when I buy a proper turbo I want to go .82 hot side to give the drivetrain an easier time ,but for now it should be fun!

Well I sold the 24v engine as I've always wanted to build a vrt,, I bought a late mk3 golf vr6 to get the engine from and sell off the rest of the bits to pay for some of the turbo parts that I need,, I started by buying an ecu setup that has been mapped by stealth to 420hp at 1 bar ,this also came with the 4" maf and dry filter ,I then got a 2mm spacer plate to drop compression down to 9.1 I have bought a cheap turbo just to get it all together then will upgrade to garret gt3582r once I know everything is working well.. The engine is currently stripped down waiting for some more parts for the build up.. Oh and got some new wheels ... Will get some pics up soon... ---------- Post added at 7:35 PM ---------- Previous post was at 6:07 PM ---------- Ok few pics,, New wheels,fully polished,ZW1s 8.5x17s with 215,35 sp9000s Turbo Gt35 with .62 a/r ATP clone manifold Short runner,, Engine stripped, Found a cracked chain tensioner so need to replace that but otherwise it's in really good shape.. I have a week off mid August so hope to get the engine built up with turbo and oil lines new clutch and sat in the bay.. Answered pm JC ,the oil temps I'm unsure about ,it ran no higher than 102 in mine . Engine mounts were normal height at rear and about 20mm off the front to clear the bonnet and let the down pipe sit in the correct place..

Loving the itv4 coverage ,,the riders are mental! It makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end when the go through conker trees lent over on one wheel at 120mph!

I saw another ,,,two in one day and the first for about 6 months,, This one was red not sure on flaver but was late spec on a59 between York and knaresborough ..was in the bm this time tho.
