Out of interest, do you know how much it weighs? Thanks Mark

That sucks man! Looks a lovely goof too....

If you sell it on somewhere like E38 or Club GTI you may even get around £150...!

Looks excellent Dave, well done!

I'm amazed this R32 motor even runs....

Surely, the garage are larking about and have 'dressed' it up to look like that?! Looks like it's spent the 60k going backwards and forwards on the Paris-Dakar! -

...And both Awesome GTI and Strictly Dubs are 42DD (lol!) importers now if you don't fancy buying from the States yourself. Mark

Seeing as you describe your car as an SLC, are you one of our American cousins per chance? If so, it's probably worth pointing out that this is a predominantly UK based forum so be aware that people will tend to be selling parts for RHD Corrados.... Just thought it was worth clarifying for you. Mark

Payment made Andy, and PM sent with delivery address. Thanks Mark

I'll take the seat side panels; need them posting though... Can you let me know what the P&P comes to? Mark
-
Have you tried contacting Gruven directly to see if they advise a thicker/different seal?

Yeah mine looked exactly the same as yours. You need to follow Hasan's advice; he helped me when mine went. Read off the rating on the Fiat resistor and pop into maplins for the equivalent (obviously go for a slightly lower rating to err on the side of safety). Then you'll need some 5A connectors from B&Q and solder them to your resistor assembly and then fit the thermal fuse from maplins and tighten the screws. Job done. Have a look through Hasan's build thread (Fla), it's all there and a great guide. This got my fan working on all 4 speeds, AC still didn't work tho, lol! Mark

Recommended welder for stainless exhaust?
MarkFoster replied to Kevin Bacon's topic in General Car Chat
Bazza, don't put silly ideas like that in his head. If Kev feels the way to go is to buy a welder and learn to weld stainless steel I really don't think we should put him off the idea. ....Could be very useful for those of us who don't live so far away from him, lol! -
Never did get a response on the headlight loom....?
-
Just to say, when mine blew I bought a thermal resistor from maplins and soldered it on (carefully!!). That ebay link doesn't look anything like the original resistor.... Mark

I prefer VR6's explanation, lol!
