  1. I'd put it up at £3.5k and stick to your guns. The only way prices will rise is if people stop selling up for peanuts... Mark
  2. Always better to buy new if things are still available and you can afford it. Bear in mind, the reason most things become discontinued/obsolete is because people stop buying them new..... Applies equally to mods like this as well as OEM parts. Mark
  3. I love the way people like Tom and Kev make these things sound so simple. It took me 2 months to swap my interior out, clean in and then put it back! I can honestly say, a job like this would need to be measured in years for me not weeks or months! Hang on a minute, I've had an idea - T&K Autos anyone?! Mark
  4. Good to hear, now, we just have to make sure the same thing happens with a certain Mr Bacon.......
  5. /\ /\ /\ Agreed, there is something creepy about places like that...
  6. The Tories haven't changes since the 80s; self serving, bigoted @rseholes who snuck back into power through a combination of lying to the generation who don't remember the mayhem they caused last time they were in power, and taking advantage of the biblically naive Lib Dems. Unbelievable! Still, at least they won't get a second term.
  7. Teething issues...? Do tell, don't be shy now.
  8. ....Depends what the cover's made from.
  9. I have one of the Halfords covers too; they do the job without fuss and keep the worst of the winter muck off. The only thing I would say though is that don't last longer than a year or so, particularly if they get frozen a couple of times over the winter - the outer layer goes crusty and crumbles off for some reason... Mark
  10. Finally managed to check the contents of my box - all present and correct. Many thanks to James and Bill. Mark
  11. I think it arrived on Friday but had to leave the package at work over the weekend as I was away for a wedding. I'll be able to confirm later what's in the box - hopefully it's the splitter and not some dull piece of EPDM gasket as per the usual guff I get sent at work.... M.
  12. Gareth's a funny name for a lady....
  13. If you're suggesting people can collect you need to say where you are fella. Also, a few pics might help to entice people in...
  14. You're going to need some kind of prototype to demonstrate fit and finish quality to really get people interested....
  15. I'm planning on going Eric. Have to confess tho, it'll depend on how I feel when back from Russia and I'll be in the audi estate either way... M.
  16. I love the top gear shows that featured the Atom - even May looked like he was loving it. How much are the supercharged versions? ....I should probably stop there; the Corrado's used as a weekend car as it is and if I bought a purpose made one I think the wife might actually spontaneously self combust! M.
  17. Isn't it Supercharged's brother or brother-in-law or something? Perhaps PM Supercharged to see what the score is..... Mark
  18. I'll take both sets of spacers Woody - you have PM. Thanks Mark
  19. ....Regardless of peoples's fitting plans, it would still be reassuring to get some idea of dispatch time. Can you chase James please Bill? Mark
  20. Looks lovely, like the exhaust shape too - bit different from the usual oval that most of us have. It looks like it says something like Milltek from the photo, do you know what car it was originially intended for as the usual Miltek exhausts are also oval....? It does look a bit low from the side though; could do with being adjusted to bring it a bit nearer the bumper cutout perhaps...? Mark
  21. Drive it Bryn, dare ya! Lol ....mind you, I'm a fine one to talk! M.
  22. PM Dave16v, I'm sure he could do you a kit quicker and the quality will be much better than eBay... Mark
