  1. Not normally a fan of cream interiors but that does look excellent. Keep up the good work!
  2. Looking good, I'd like to express my interest too!! Mark
  3. Keep your eyes out for a few weeks. A coward of that order will undoubtedly change their routine for a short while but it wouldn't surprise me if they soon became complacent and returned.... Then nab 'em!
  4. It's a design feature, lol! People get round it by going for the DDI or spoonfed dials which are backlit. I myself get over the problem entirely by simply not driving the car at night! M.
  5. What are the 'necessary mods' out of interest? Mark
  6. .....but why would a car with only 87k on it need a brand new engine and gearbox rebuild...? And why would you sell it for little more than £10k???
  7. I'd be interested depending on price. I have a becker HU so was looking for a set up that would be as discreet as possible to match; this could be just the thing.... Mark
  8. Getting friendly with the guys at your local TPS is also worthwhile for those times when you just have to go brand new OEM.
  9. Get yourself to hospital immediately. Manflu is a killer!
  10. Cracking shot of the car in the field! Mark
  11. That's good advice from Guy. You won't want to follow it, but it's good advice nevertheless....
  12. Words fail me; I don't normally rise to this sort of thing but this lad truly is a complete hand job!

I have the two box system on mine and I think it strikes just the right balance between a sporty sound and not being too intrusive in the cabin. It might be a touch of placebo effect but, I felt in drove better compared to the standard system as well; not exactly faster, just keener I suppose.... Mark
  14. I'll take it Kev. Will PM regarding organising collection. M.
  15. /\ /\ /\ Hmmm, maybe. Problem is that stylised photo could be hiding all sorts of nasty alignment issues; you really need to see them up close and personal to be sure. Skirts can look quite weird depending on how they align with the wheel arch and how they look when vewed looking down, ie how much do they stick out from the original bodywork...? Also, bet you the bumpers above look fugly from the the front!
  16. Good luck with the sale - the car really is in top nick! Mark
  17. Yep, well done Riley for digging out a set of skirts that actually look acceptable. I've never liked the fact that you can see the brake lines ducking under the rear beam from the side and these offer quite a good solution to that. Mark
  18. I bought new lenses from the stealers about a year ago, not sure about the other parts though...
  19. Yes please Sam, posting will be much appreciated. Let me know the costs involved and we can take it from there - PM me if you prefer. M.
  20. I bought the same thing as you, through the same person and have the same 'spare' connections behind the centre console at low level. Pretty sure they're not for the oil/volt gauge though.... Try PMing Dave16v as he fitted his a while back and seemed to have it all sussed. Mark
  21. Lol, stop mucking about Kev; get the house sorted, get the Rado back and let's see a V8 4.2FSI conversion! You know you're not going to be happy with anything you can't re-engineer every 6 months.... Mark
  22. Assuming they're grey to match the rest of the interior, I'd be interested in the A-pillar if you'd sell them separately? It's essential they come with the screw covers though as that's actually what I'm really after.... Mark
