theres a simular 'brick' colour used in the 350z, looks blo*dy awful if you ask me! I know what you mean though jim, its the rarity of the campaign that makes it attractive, not sure i could live with the interiour myself!

theres a yellow C somewhere abouts with airbags (got a feeling it rears-only) not sure if the guy who owns it is on the forum but it looks pretty mad with its bum stuck up in the air! certainly a good toy, and pretty practical if you want your car low but sensible. Mines down 80mm (so I'm told) on koni's and currently wearing 15's, it catches speedbumps unless I'm very careful and multi-story carparks are just out of the question! out of interest how much room does the air-ride kit take up? I saw some hydraulic kits a while back but they took up most of the boot!

nice to see that even though hes had it removed, the owner still likes to carry his brain around with him in a box (guy in the cream jacket) ;)

superb use of the word 'asshat' in conversation jim, ten points! rovers collapse was top gears fault then was it? nothing to do with their generally sh*te cars then? 'sensible driving in sensible cars' my backside! since when have they done a feature on mowing your lawn on gardeners world? part of the entertainment of the programme is knowing you're not likely to drive any of the exotics they show, and especially not the way they drive them!

it does need to come off if you're replacing the handle on a VR saysomestuff, they have an extra wire you need to plug in :)

have a look for one of my posts titled 'which forum member' as i was looking for a picture of a silver C with design 90's and someone posted it. AFAIK 8" with coilovers should be fine, depending on offset. The problem with the width is that they can catch the struts and fitting coilovers solves that problem. Kevhaywire maintains that 8" with an ET40 offset fits the VR perfectly without coilovers, I'll be finding out myself soon as I think I'm going to go for some 17x8's.

did this for the first time this weekend with a little help, much easier than previous cars i've taken the doorcards off! The center of the grab handle pulls out and theres 2 screws underneith (bolts on my driver side) which you need to undo, then the entire plastic section should come away. I think theres another screw under there but it was missing on mine. lift the door opening handle and slide the surround back and it should come out. Theres some screws around the outer edge of the doorcard which are easy enough to spot, then theres one behind the speaker grille. I found it easier to pop the little triangle off the front edge of the window frame too, then the card just lifts up out of the clips at the bottom (dont pull them like i did, they snap!) mines the late interior, early ones may be different!

bloody graffiti vandals! looks like they got inside his car too from what i can see of the dash...
-
yeah thats almost identical to the ones i've seen on ebay, looks better than a totally flush tailgate IMO.

you can get a replacement for the numberplate pannel which doesnt have the recess and has 'corrado' embossed in it which looks fairly nice, there was a whole load of them on ebay not that long ago but there doesnt seem to be any on now! not sure who makes them and i've not seen any on a car outside of the ebay adverts...

-
woah... I thought those lights looked good on my old red valver but they look the absolute t*ts against black mate! Wheels look class, really like KT4's. Just need a set of silver bulbs for the rear indicators now 8)
-
could you email them to me mate?
-
yup RH's were on the cards for a while but I've had to have a rethink, cant find many wheels that are a simular style to those and arent going to break the bank! I do like design 90's but they're 16" and I wanted to go for 17's really. I'd like to find something thats a bit unusual (hence azev's on a VR), carrys a sense of class, has a bit of a dish and isnt too expensive! I think i might be looking for some time...
-
spot on phil, thats the pic i've seen before (i think) yeah there are caliper clearence issues with the VR, but I think it can be done with some careful grinding...maybe! they're either et35 or 40, so I'm thinking get the 35's for maximum chance of clearing the calipers and as I say, some careful grinding. Its either these, cup 3 replicas or RS4 replicas. wasnt sure on what the azev's looked like on a C, cup 3's i'm still kind of undecided on if i like them or not half the time i do, the other half i dont! and I fancy some RS4's after seeing them on that gray C that looks so good. I'm WAY to much of a tart over wheels!

so he did! cheers darren...heads spinning with ideas now
