looks loads better! think you need a new camera though, sepia tone went out with the dark ages ;) -
euro carp arts do 6mm ones for about £20 IIRC
-
bah! just missed out! ah well... if they come in 5x100 then I'm laughing! :D
-
hmm, i really like cup 1's on a C and thought mille miglia might be a cost effective way of getting them, but the hub adaptors add extra cost... I'll have a look and see if i can find something simular thats direct fit! cheers guys
-
i fancy a set for the VR when it arrives so 5x100 to 5x130 would be spot on ;)
-
I cant find fitment sizes on any of the sites that sell them, or at least not consistant ones, however some of them do say sutable for VW... any know?
-

'polish the mk1' is that what they call it these days? -
hope you dont mind, just been playing with photoshop and did this...
-
yeah but during that hug she took your wallet, your phone.... ;)
-
probably the most important thing with the g60 is when the charger was last serviced, if it was recent then I recon thats a pretty fair price.

its looking alot nicer with the remodeled front end and new wheels mate! cant decide if i like the calibra skirts or not, I like the way they stop the front looking disproportionaly (word of the week!) low because they drop the level of the sides to match the front splitter, but i'm not sure about how they appear to 'flare' out. hard to tell from those shots, do you have larger version of your sig picture you could post?

See the luck I've had, would turn a good man...

was it my old C you rang up about mate? if it was you were very unlucky to miss out, the first time you rang the new owner had 'just' been to drop of his deposite! good luck finding a new one, I'm sure you're luck will change :) -
Need a Working Bonnet Lifter Solution please
chrishill replied to chargedupstorm's topic in Engine Bay
Guy, I think I've got a stay I took out of my 1.8 valver when i fitted a single lifter (which wouldnt suit your needs as it wouldnt clear the brace) if you need it give me a shout. Hennys right about the mk2 lifters, I've seen chrisvr6nos's in the flesh and the look VERY neat. -
maybe its a hyundai S coupe (bit too close to scoop for comfort) always made me chuckle along with the saab 900se (goose!)
-
i'll guess at 640 ;)

you sure you heard him right? he didnt say he'd sell you his 93 'colideoscope' did he?

Gran Turismo 4 - what do you think of it?
chrishill replied to Bojmobile's topic in General Car Chat
you see! retro classics! theres a 205 turbo 16 in there somewhere too, could be a laugh... -
I should have mentioned I'll be putting the sub/amp in the boot which i also took out of the valver, so the bass should be covered! In terms of sound I'm not going for anything that'll win either an SPL competition or a quality competition, I just dont have that kind of cash to spend, but I want it to sound good for the cash i spend on it. I was pretty happy with the setup I had in the valver TBH, so I think I might go for the pioneers again since as you say kev, theres little point spending wads of cash on decent speakers that are going to sit in plastic door pockets by my feet!
-
Since I'll finally be able to fit door speakers when I get my hands on the VR, I've been looking into whats avalible. I know a few people on here rate both infinity and focal and at the moment I'm looking at thew Focal 130CA's and Infinity 52.5i's. The focals are a good £20 more expensive, and really a bit more than I wanted to pay, but are they 'that' much better? I'll be running a set of pioneer TS-E something or others in the dash since I have them left over from the install I had in the valver and i've always been pretty impressed with how they sound. I'm half tempted to spend less and get the 5.25" versions of them, but they're only £44 and I'm sure cant compete with the focals or infinitys!

Gran Turismo 4 - what do you think of it?
chrishill replied to Bojmobile's topic in General Car Chat
i'm well impressed by the number of 80s/90s retro legends there are! shame they're not up with the more modern cars for the harder races, it'd be fun thrashing a skyline an old audi quattro... -
unless you've actually got a kompressor on it! where did the 'corrado' letters come from? they look like a Seat font to me...couple of cordoba (spelling??) badges?
-
I agree with Kev, the Corrado is too young to be considered a 'classic' just yet, however the potential is deffinatly there. Rarity, desirability, quaility and reputation, the Corrado got them all in spades. The VR especially was, and still is an aspirational car. Mention them to anyone whos into cars and is old enough to remember the 90's ;) and you'll invariably get a positive reaction. IMO all of the above define a classic, just give it a few years.

i wouldnt wait for better weather to do the lupo wipers, you wont get the benefit! :D looks like a very nice car!

get a 80's rx-7 with the first stage turbo/intercooler, stage 1 weight reduction and uprated suspension for the FR races, pretty cheap and i won them all with my rusty skills! -
lovely, ta kev.
