  1. looks really nice mate, wheels really seem to suit it and i'm not normally a fan of 'modern' wheels on a C. Frankenstein would be an appropriate name...

lets have a look at your bug then! They're how i got into VW's, never owned one but loved them since I was a kid. To add a photo, click the post reply button at the bottom of this page, then the 'add an attachment' button at the bottom of the reply screen, browse for your photo and click 'add attachment', click submit and you're done!

if everyone had the same tastes the world would be a pretty dull place. I dont think you can improve the original design either, but you can 'enhance' it with subtle touches, which is the essance of the current vdub scene. Theres alot of fans of the standard look on here Oldyeller, so you're not alone!
  8. tow bar?! on a corrado?! is that some sort of new 'euro' trend then?

I'd leave the slats white and refit the lights, love the look of the front of g60dans car and IMO the bumper doesnt look quite right without the lights in. as for the slats normally i'd say black, but in your case i think it looks better white since everything else is colour coded!
  11. I had p6000s on the standard 15's I used to run and they did wear stupidly quickly, not 4000 miles quickly, but close! went for them thinking pirelli were a resonable cheap(ish) tyre and was disapointed.
  12. i'd be wary of the bilstein streetline kits, got mine from euro car parts and the ride isnt great, feels realy under damped, although the cornering is more stable now. the streetline kit consists of standard length bilstein shocks and (in the corrado's case) -40mm 'ventura' springs, in hindsight i wish i'd saved a little more for koni's/h&r.
  13. £87.50 for a hammer?! should have gone to b&q mate they're only £9.99  I dont tend to get much abuse from chav's, its more sales reps driving diesel mondeo's that tend to give me the middle finger!
  14. you sure the BMW driver wasnt lobbing granades at you in frustration?
  15. I'd say it makes me a nerd who cracks crap jokes! :(
  16. AAS (Advanced Automotive Systems Ltd) Unit 19 Mercia Way Bells Close Ind Est Newcastle upon Tyne ne15 6uf 0191 2673718 The Ind Est is just past the B&Q at scotswood, head up the road past B&Q, over the roundabout and its on your right. As I say nice blokes and from what I hear they're building a good reputation for themselves.
  17. another vote for a 1.8 valver from me, mine cost me less than 2k over a year ago and (touching lots of wood) all I've really 'had' to do is the usual dizzy cap/rotor arm/leads. now i've said that it'll probably implode next time i start it!
  18. Its a company based in scotswood in newcastle, AAS or ACC or something like that! really nice pair of blokes running the company, and good quality work too, I'd deffinatly recomend them. I'll find the proper detials out for you when I get home tonight.
  19. its the only way to drive a valver!
  20. have you had many problems running spaced fronts and not rears? i've got some 6mm spacers that I was planning to put on both front and rear, but the fronts are fine its just the rears that could do with sitting a little further out, wasnt sure if i'd mess the handling up if i did that though!
  21. hennys are ET30 and IIRC hes used spacers to get them to ET35, although he'll probably correct me on that! Mine are ET35 (same borbet c's as henny) and make the car feel alot more stable than it did on the standard 7x15's. Ride wasnt that different on stock suspension, no more harsh really. I think its just the extra width in the tyres aiding the levels of grip that helps with stability.
