    i wrapped a 4 to 1 manifold and used nearly 20 metres of 50mm wrap. you should get at least 40m to be on the safe side. i know that sounds a lot but i thought i would have plenty left over but used it all and could have done with another metre to be honest.If you soak the wrap in water first it goes on easier and then shrinks tight when it gets hot. By the way it is the most time consuming arkward job i have ever done :censored: Not wanting to put you off like :lol:

    Cheers mate, has anyone done this with a 9a throttle body? I notice from the wiki 16v tuning guide that the kr doesn't have a wedge screwed on to the small butterfly, is this correct? what difference would it make?

    i have bought a second hand throttle body to see if i can do a bit of home porting and polishing. What i am wondering is that on the smaller throttle inlet butterfly there is a wedge screwed onto it, can i remove this to aid airflow or will it mess the whole air/fuel delivery up? any thoughts appreciated.

    i was wondering what short shift kits are available for the 2ltr 16v (cable change O2A) and are they worth having? Do they make much difference in reality? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

    I have noticed that your rear lights are painted black round the edges, is this over the top or somehow underneath? I am trying to de-green mould my rear lights as it looks a bit pants and scruffy, and that just doesn' cut it. Lovin' those wheels too, i nearly got some of those but plumped for Keskins instead.

    they are white samco's, the photo has bleached out the blue writing on them. they are actually quite easy to keep clean and are a bit different to the usual blue or black.

    Cheers mate. It has taken me three and a half years to get it from very grubby totally standard to what it is now, doing one bit at a time when funds would allow.

    I have just got some of these and fitted them this morn, they went straight on . there was no sensor attached to the old lead as you say and they seem to work fine. I have to say i did just get them to look good and they do look very bling. i will post a pic up tommorow. p.s- I also have the 2.0 9a.

    ABS removal

    Is it possible to remove the ABS system from my c'?, it hardly ever works anyway and the early c's didn't come with it so i wondered whether it would be ok. do i need the master cylinder from an early valver or can i adapt mine?

    don't know what make it is, i got it from ebay 2nd hand. it only just clears the bulkhead though. i think TSR and Ashley make one.
