    noticed it the last few days when coasting & slowing down.. under load cars pulls fine no power lose... checked oil at lunch seems fine, topped it up... cars done 185k now.. wondering if its time to say good bye to the valver lump?? pls advise chaps..

    as above.. buzzer not going off.. but Im guessing the low pressure switch is fooked... anyone no part no's? if not its the oil pump on its way out.. only does it when hot & slowing car down from speed... Fanks peeps 8)

    Hi mate, I used metal polish to remove the chrome... & when I get the chance paint the tops in matt black.. Ive dechromed the middle line too... look alot better... 8)

    & there me thinking my cars a pain in the rear.. Ive had my matrix bypassed abt the same amount of time as Karl.. as I remeber us chatting abt it... hhmm maybe a CF matrix swap meet.. :lol:

    Myns playing up again.. I replaced it with a new Bosch one abt year & half ago.. Its starting to stick & wont start.. had to use the old hammer trick to get it going :lol: surely it should last longer?? bought it from G&S going to call them monday to findout what can be done..

    Im sure Ive seen pics somewhere, peeps running different alts from the standard one?? MK3 GTI?? wondering what fits?? Im aware the pully belt is different?? Im looking to getting a higher amp alternator.. anyone have any ideas??

    It is very annoying.. some very jealous peeps out there.. I had some prick pull out towards me at a roundabt this morning on my way to work.. he thought it was funny to drive straight towards me.. I stopped reversed the car up the road after him.. he's very lucky as he turned of & I couldnt find him.. I cant tolerate road rage & pricks on the road.. I get so angry.. ggrrrrr!!!

    cheers bud.. yup a wheel change is on its way, may need to speak to your bud dav about repairing rims. trying a local place first who may be able to help, but will pm you otherwise. no probs dude... looks mega clean.. look forward to seeing the new rimage...
