outstanding read so far i made my self a coffee to read about locking keys in cars :( :( still passes the time of day :D :D

well after changing the cat converter air filter plugs oil change plug lead change i had the car booked for its 3rd mot today so after warming it up walked around to check the lights and wow no head lights so spent 3/4 of an hour trying to fix it (i have an uprated loom) managed to fault find it to one of the relays 20 mins after it was booked so have rebooked for friday and sourced a new relay fitted it and now it all works again so 4th time lucky i hope :D so yes sometimes my car does hate me :D :D

i got em with the wheels from g60stoney on here but look on the net they are about a £100 each last time i looked

i have only driven it to the mot test station twice since they were fitted so i chose a test station 20 miles from me i can only say they are fantastic ive never had grip like it on corners where i could normally do 60 mph b4 loosing grip i could do 80-90 they are worth every penny they stick like sh1t to a blanket i love em :D :D :D :D

saw a blue corrado Parked in SDG feltham trading estate when i droped in to fedex today seen it a few times now

OMG i thought i was the only person to know that about panasonic tv's :D :D :D :D :D im pretty sure most vr6's left the factory with the twin electrode ngk's did they not ?? i had a sharan vr6 :gag: for carting the kids and buggys around in and that had the 2 prong ngks in as did my vr6 even the local stealers said they did, honest guv !! :D

VW did not spend millions of pounds desiging the engine to use NGK plugs for nothing you know :D thats why we all like to try something new . FAIL then tell the story on forums and then get told "use the factory part it works best " hence why im trying platinium ngk's then iridium ngk's then will prob go back to the std jobbies :lol:

i used to use the k&n but prefer the bmc not so in your face but when you boot it its a very simular noise :D

not a fan of bosch normally use ngk /denso, running platinium's at the mo but not overly impressed will try iridium's and if still good go back to the std 2 prong jobbies !

been in cornwall for the last 2 weeks we stayed in hayle(st ives) and saw a just two corrados a violet valver (i think) and a green 8v at lands end !!

i ran a k&n for many years and must say i did start to notice it loosing power upto 4500 then was fine i now have a bmc cda and must say still get greast noise from it but i think i need to clean or replace the MAF as the powe has not returned

A power cap will store energy to provide the amps in a spike of power so really a split charge system is best with a power cap and like above a better alternator

yes thats looks like the one the obd connection had a large d shape connection

my vr runs around the 100 mark during the summer and oil is 110-120 winter its around the 90 mark and oil is 100-110 from what i remember
