  1. As title preferably in a blackberry colour but if not it doesnt matter what state the paint is as long as the rest of the unit is in good condition and working order. If you have one please quote me a posted price unless you are reasonably close to Sheffield. Cheers
  2. Where does she see the blackberry? It might be the one I saw yesterday or it might be our's.
  3. N reg Blackberry going past the Arena Square pub in Sheffield today at just gone 5. I was in my polo.
  4. As title, I need the front bearing housing for the nearside. I am based in Sheffield so could pick up reasonably close to here if you are nearby. It is part 8 in the diagram in the link. Cheers http://www.wagenstad.com/index.php?modid=115&page=4-97-15
  5. Hi, I mean the bit the bearings actually press into. If we are talking about the same thing and you could post them by the weekend then that would be great and let me know your payment details! Cheers
  6. Have you got a front bearing housing/flange please? If so how much posted? Needed quite urgently. Cheers.
  7. Sorry, dont know whether its gone but have you got a VR6 front bearing housing please and if so how much posted? Cheers
  8. Saw a grey/silver G60 with a G60 private plate on the charlie browns roundabout tonight in Rotherham. I was in my polo at the lights. Looked tidy!
  9. Sorry if this has been asked before, I've done a quick search but not found anything exactly like this. The wife mentioned a noise on her way home from work when she came around a left hand bend. I took the car out for a spin and into a car park. Was doing lock to lock turns and on full lock going in either direction it was fine. Maybe half a turn from full lock there is a groaning noise but only when the steering wheel is actually turning. It does it also when turning right but not as much. It only seems to make the noise when the steering is in a certain range. Anyone any ideas? I havent checked the power steering fluid level yet, could it be rack related?
  10. After I'd stopped being a doofus I managed to sign up. Never done this before so not expecting to do very well. I'm getting quite excited for the season now but I just hope Vettel doesnt win it again.
  11. I did ours just before Christmas. You'll need to take all the underlay out from under the carpets too. We gave ours a wash out in the bath to get the coolant out otherwise they will never dry. It amazing how much water they hold. I compared the GSF matrix one to the original one in the car and they looked exactly the same and were both Valeo ones.
  12. Yeah I'll take the air filter for that, what your paypal please?
  13. Yep, page 17, it goes from The bad boys 3 to the destroyers.
  14. I cant find the team listed in the list of teams.
  15. Anymore details on the air filter, how much posted please?

Wow 36mpg? Was that on the mfa or worked out properly?
  18. Wow that sounds bloody awful. I'd turn that off straight away.
  19. No I understood, what I was meaning was that the relay could have faulted in a way that was letting the car start in any gear. I do have a spare one of those you can borrow to rule it out if you want. As Fla says the box's can be a real pain. I had a similar thing last year where it felt like the clutch was slipping and then it would bang into gear from rest. In the end it was a solenoid that was buggered but it took a while to diagnose. You need special auto gearbox oil and yes its not as simple as filling up to a level. There is a good guide on how to change the fluid (might be a good idea for a starter for ten) that includes how to check the level here. http://www.deylan.co.uk/golf/096%20Fluid%20Change/index.htm
  20. Where should the gauge go to when you bridge the pins?
  21. There is a relay that has something to do with the reverse light and has something to do with it not starting in anything other than P and N. Might be something to do with that. Where are you?
  22. Ah after re-reading I remember I bought a special socket from GSF to do this. They sell a thermo switch socket that is deep enough to fit over the plastic plug.
  23. I managed it from the top easy enough and thats with aircon. You just need to use the right length extension bar to clear stuff for the wrench. It shouldnt be that tight in there so should only need a couple of goes on the wrench to loosen it sufficiently.
  24. http://www.examiner.co.uk/news/local-west-yorkshire-news/2011/02/10/honley-motorist-makes-pothole-warning-signs-in-dig-at-kirklees-council-86081-28145374/
  25. Its almost comical how much they've damaged to do and still not actually got in the car. They must have been the worst thieves ever. It is absolutely awful when anything like this happens though so feel dead sorry for you. In the last two or three months we've a wing mirror kicked off and had the rear quarter keyed (on opposite sides of the country). Kn0bs.
