Okey... to bad ImageShack is a bunch of twats so alot of the images doesnt show anymore :( But will update this thread again. Got some rear MK4 calipers for 20quid at the local junkyard. But these wasnt from a Golf... it was a Skoda Fabia ;) Same same.. but same. Going to get a coat of silver and then wait for the spring to come again.. so I can work on the car outside. Now its raining and cold :( Later on Im going to order the 288mm calipers. Why you may ask? Im going to change the discs and pad anyway and the calipers are just 50quid for both. Sure I need hoses but thats doesnt matter. I just hope that I can get a better feel out of my brakes. Now its almost scary how bad they are, no initial bite :(

Its very often the switch that is the fault. Remove the door card and unplugg the switch. Inside the switch is a board and some cooper strips. Clean them with some alcohol and a eraser. Watch out for the small springs and contacts inside. Remove any old "grease" and reasemble. Mine worked after this!

These are 93+... Do you have a pre93 car, that gauge wont fit. You will need this one and its even more rare. Can be found in the states but you have a RHD car... then it can be a real pain.

I bought everything and it fitted like a glove. The only thing is 5th gear is a bit hard to get in. That can be solved with bending the wire bracket on the gearbox.

MM... Ciders ;) On the topic of spoilers... I was driving infront of a S14 Nissan with maaahooosive spoiler. His face when my spoiler retracted was priceless! :D I would suggest looking for bad ground? The rear window is a hell hole of rust on alot of cars even if the rust is underneath the rubber it can leak true and cause a cable or two to corrode... Just brainstorming.
