Hmm.. Im planning of giving the car the vacuum operated brake booster from a later Passat. I really hate the electric pump thing! Its worthless and it keeps jerking when I brake.. ONOFFONOFFONOFF... BLARGH! And then I also hope I will sort some of the squichiness in my brakepedal.. I have change to braided hoses but that didnt make so much difference. And my ABS doesnt work..

I think there is a Corrado in my driveway..

Hi mates! Im looking for fogs, indicators and headlights for a 92 VR. The headlights needs to have a really good reflector... the glas isnt that importatn. And it can also be from a G60 etc... Difference is in the glas and I have that, I just need the reflector and housing ;) The fogs need to be in Good Condition, and the indicators. I live in Sweden... So shiping it here is mandatory! Just shout me a PM or something!!!

In my papers VW say to use G00045002 for the sunroof but also to use D00700004 for almost anything that need to be lubricated, as window rollers, sun roof, seat rails etc... Cant really find anything about that one :S I also found that 3M, CRC, Liqui Moly.. they all make a Silicone grease... But I dont know if they are any good because you want a grease that doesnt attract particles and dust...

I want to buy a fault code reader. A good one, I have seen cheap ones that only shows the fault but I would like on that is a bit more advanced. But as long I can check ABS, TPS, EGR etc Im happy. A VAG-Com handheld ;) Any tips for a nice unit? I dont want a bt unit and use my phone.. I want a stand alone handheld unit that is only used for OBD1/2 codes. The price? Around 50quid? Maybe more.. I have seen cheapo for 10quids and Im guessing that around 50 I can get one that works alot better... but which one? Cheers!

The ISV-unit is there for a reason... just clean it, replace broken hoses and leave it complete in the car.

10Liter is maybe for my LHD Corrado... ;)

The VR uses 10Liters of coolant, and I run G13 with 50/50 mix... So 2x1.5 will give you 3liters of G13 and 7liters of water... that will be 30/70 mix. Fill the car with maybe 7liters of coolant, mixed 60/40 and then let the engine get warm with the fan set on high and warm. So that the coolant can flow true completely. Refill until level in the expansion bottle and refill if necessary later on. Do this in a slight downhill also, then the air will have easier to escape.

Iwe done this and couldnt feel a thing... So back went the original part...
