Not really - handling is fine - the only thing at my last service was that one of the ball joints will need replacing soon - could that have somethong to do with it?

Hi Wondered if anyone can help with an issue I seem to have with my 1990 16v. When driving there seems to be a low droning type sound accompanied with a vibration through the floor pan that is not evident through the steering wheel. It’s not very bad just annoying. I have had new tyres fitted since it first appeared and all the wheel bearings were changed at the start of the year Any ideas out there?

Hi Jim Received the bits yesterday - Thanks very much.

Hi The LCD display on my 1990 16v is being very erratic it its output - i.e. the numbers are sometimes missing parts of their make up so for instance 8 will appear as 3 or 5. Is the LCD unit in the cluster interchangeable and if so has anyone got a knackered cluster I could cannibalise? Thanks

I will have the goodridge hoses if neil does not want them - I think they are for a 16v 1990-92 -
Ray - 16v

The early ones had a fixed time between the sweep but later ones had the relay that allowed you to change the sweep intervals by moving the wiper stalk down (intermittent sweep position) and then back up to the off position and what ever period had elapsed between those two actions would then determine the sweep timing eg 2 seconds, 4 seconds etc.
-
After 5 years of ownership I finally got around to fitting a number 99 relay to allow "programmable" intermittent wiper washing - about the best £10 and easier modification I have carried out!

New - never been fitted Supersport front strut brace. I bought this thinking it would fit my 16v (1990) but it fowls the throttle body. Pretty sure it's not for a VR6 so I assume it is for a G60. £40 plus delivery

Hi Hope you find a Corrado (think there is a VR6 for sale in Inverness at the moment - check ebay) - I live on Skye at the moment and God had corrado's in mind when he designed the the highlands!
-
Hi - The roof bars sound much the same as mine so I will pass - I will be back in Edinburgh around about the 14th - if you don't miond waiting I will pick up the eyebrow spoiler then and maybe have thought of a few other things!
-
Hi I may be in Inverness this week - id so I will have the eyebrow spoiler please - don't suppose you have the roof mouldings?
-
I use my 1990 16v every day to and from work and seeing as how that involves some single track highland roads is a great way of blowing away any cobwebs!. Also just did a 650 mile round trip for a long weekend and she never missed a beat! I do intend to put her into storage again this winter and run my old RAV4 tho

I may have a sony unit that was in my 16v when I bought it. If that would be of intereset I will look this weekend. Ray

OK - will be back in touch begining of next week as I'm off for a 5 day trip South - just hope no one decides to tamper the the Corrado while the siren is down!

I found another fuse - 2 amp as you say near the sense and tell unit. It looked ok but I changed it anyway. The siren still did not go off but the interior speaker that warns of sensor activity started working but then stopped again. reseated the fuse and the same thing happened. Is there likely to be another fuse for the siren in the engine bay or is it maybe that the siren is just busted?
-
I was reading a guide to removing the battery pack and one of the first things suggested that in order to check it was indeed the battery was to set the alarm off and the siren should still sound but that is not happening. I found two fuses in the alarm wiring - a 5 amp and a 20 amp both were intact. So was the advice about the siren test maybe not correct?
-
Will do - many thanks!

That sounds the business - thanks very much - will try replacing.

Hi - No the valet mode is defo not engaged - in fact I set it to check as it gives a voice "enabled" warning when you enter into valet mode

Hi My Clifford Concept 50 Alarm's Siren and speaker have stopped working. The alarm itself including all the remote control facilities (remote boot open, lights on, central locking etc.) all still operate ok but I don’t get the voice/chirp acknowledgements. Anyone got any ideas where any fuses etc. may be located that may be the reason for the failure?
-
OK - will you take £40 posted for the roof strips?
-
Are the roof gutter strips still available?
