Hi There is mention of possible bolts for the wishbone/subframe in the thread about "replacing subframe" - I need to replace the bolts that secure the wishbones to the subframe - did you manage to come up with replacements? Cheers

Well I swapped the LCD unit but the the reading is still fragmented! - I may have been unlucky and just got another faulty one but can anyone think of another reason for the problem?

Hi I have bilstein shocks and eibach springs on my 1990 16v. I really like the set up except the rear ride height is to low looking for my own tastes. I certainly don't want to go back to the original "tractor" look but wondered if anyone knew of a way of raising the height (spacers?) by 10mm or so TAI

I was looking for the insulation cover for my 16v like the one fitted to my previous VR6 and as usual anything Corrado (or VW) related seemed to be attracting premium prices - but I got a very good condition BMW one of eBay for about £10 - fits perfectly and apart from protecting the Battery (-5 here yeterday ) - it also does tidy up the engine bay HTH

16vG60 - is right it is the LCD potion - managed to get a gauge pod of ebay for 99p but strangley the guy is reluctant to complete the sale!

Just ordered and received a Genuine VW front wheel bearing from these guys: http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/partsdepot_uk?_trksid=p2047675.l2559 £34 with delivery and delivered in approx 24 hours from Crewe to Skye - Great service and good old Royal Mail - eat your hearts out crap couriers who charge the earth for delivery to Highlands and then take any eternity to do so!

Just went to the garage on the way home and it appears they only changed one front wheel bearing - and the other one is now shagged! - so hopefully that is a cheap fix!

Guess if it were the drive shaft bearings it is as esay to replace the driveshaft (reconditioned?) - glad she is comming of the road for winter in a couple of weeks - give me time to address this problem!

Hi - pretty much right through the rev range - If I had not had the bearings done I'd be thinking they were to blame
