Ouch, think my stainless ones were about £3 or £4 total including washers - No one is going to see them and at least they won't rust! Ian.
-
I replaced mine with St/Steel bolts + washers recently from a fastener wholesaler locally, other than that I would guess they should be available from VW? Ian.
-
Yes, the adjuster switch built into the door pull. Ian.
-
The mirror switches are a known problem for the contacts inside the switch to oxidise, there has been numerous previous threads on how to (carefully!) clean them - The reversing lights could be either the wiring going to or the switch itself on the gearbox? Ian.
-
From memory the B12 kit is Bilstein Shocks + matched Eibach springs, I also have an Eibach Rear ARB fitted as well. Ian.
-
I bought an ashtray bulb + holder from the dealers in the last couple of months, so hopefully still available? Ian.

Agree with everyone else, did the same with my first valver - Just dry the dizzy cap and spray with WD40 and it should start fine and then let it run for a while? Ian. -

I will be joining the M5 at Junction 12 after dropping my son off to work, so around 07.45 - There is a brand new services between 12 + 11 if you wanted to meet there Rog. Ian. -
What about the speakers on top of the dash, are they worth upgrading and any sizes/suggestions? Ian.
-
Is the VR not going to be ready then Jim? Ian.
-
If you have the time and ability I would just get a MK3 Golf Cartridge and fit your metal panel to it, as it is generally regarded as a superior mechanism - can normally get them from the breakers yards for £20/30 including motor? Ian.
-
Looks good, but I'd change your expansion tank cap for the later blue version. Ian.
-
Swapped mine for a 24V one but had it painted black to keep it OEM(ish)- Old bolts came out as easy as anything then replaced with St/Steel.
-
Aren't they 5 stud rather than 4? Ian.
-
Fluid change and Goodridge St/Steel hoses are a good shout - The most popular upgrade is to go to G60 280mm discs with G60/VR6 calipers. The other item, if you can find them, is I believe an early Audi S2 that had twin pot 280mm brakes? Ian.
-
Maybe wrong, but i thought it was 15 gallons which equates to just over 68 Litres? Ian.
-
Yes, I believe it was for the warning triangle as the VR6 has a zip on the back of the rear seat for theirs - Other thing would be the first aid kit? Ian.
-
Welcome, where are you based? Ian.
