Just bought 2 of them from GSF, £6.75 each with CCGB discount. Ian.

I'm in too, like the idea of green for the 2 outer dials and then the blue/red in the middle - Do you still need a control faceplate as may have a spare? Ian.
-
Never heard of it being done, generally people fit either Mk1 Audi TT or Lupo GIT ones? Ian.
-
According to DVLA it is £123.75 for 6 months and £225.00 for 12 months. Ian.
-
Sorry for the late reply Mike, must be the photo as they are standard dash lights. Ian.

Peter D James for me on a classic policy, limited to 3000 miles a year - Around £260.00 per year inc legal cover and full UK and European breakdown cover. Ian.

Feeling your pain mate, real shame about the head. Think I have a spare crackpipe in my box of spares if you want one? Ian.

Looks good Nars, see you have the extra VDO gauges below the ashtray - Nice addition. Worth changing the expansion cap to the later blue one when you get a minute, very cheap from the dealers. Give it perhaps a full service including plugs and HT leads and see what it runs like then? I wouldn't worry too much about the mileage, if they are well maintained and allowed to get up to temperature properly before giving it some (80c+ oil) then they are good engines - Mine is now on 223K miles. Ian.

Welcome, there are a few of us in Gloucestershire! Ian.

Too early to say on the ARB due go the weather but I think the ported TB definitely improves throttle response. Ian.

Mine is now on 223K so next oil change I have a new 24v sump to go on, giving me the opportunity to check the oil pump, plus am going to change to this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004RCNOCS/ref=s9_simh_co_p263_d0_i1?pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=left-2&pf_rd_r=181BRZJM7A3CGJPAMC2K&pf_rd_t=3201&pf_rd_p=466496393&pf_rd_i=typ01 Ian.

If you're collecting then say £15.00 for both? Ian.
-
I have a grille Luke but it only has the centre tab on the top plus the 3 on the bottom. Don't want much for it plus can also supply either a black or chrome round VW badge to go with it if needed? Ian.
-
I will have a look when it stops raining - Could you pop over to Gloucester if necessary? Ian.
-
Where in Gloucestershire, I may be able to help you out with the Grille? Ian.
-
Thinking about it Rob it may appear slightly higher than normal as it is sat on a double layer of acid absorbent matting (just in case?). Ian.
-
Not that I'm aware of - We positioned the 3 relays for the uprated headlamp loom on the wing just above it though? Ian.
-
Might be worth giving them a call, you never know? http://www.vegeuk.com/uk_en/ Ian.
-
Yes, it was a sale one (OBD2) - It was just over £100 + carriage from Germany + VAT, around £150.00 all in. Ian.

Been massively busy with work and other things and then realised it has been about 10 months since I last updated this, so here goes. Fitted in this time, from memory, are: CV Gaitor Inner Track Rods Toad Cat 1 Alarm (ICS, Coventry - Highly recommended) Chrome Interior Door Pulls Leather VW Gear Knob "Kurzy" uprated Headlamp wiring loom Headlamp Switch Front ABS Sensor Correct 7 Rib Pulley for the Alternator + Belt Auxillary Belt Tensioner BMC CDA Large Bore/Ported Throttle Body Eibach Rear ARB Bilstein B12 Pro Suspension Kit + Top Mounts and Bearings etc Lots of St/Steel fittings! Am really impressed with the suspension after a short 10 mile drive back home from the garage, it feels more controlled and planted to the road - Less "crashy". The stance of it looks good as well I think? A few pics:
