It's nit turning corners I'd be worried about it's the my wheels don't actually turn round at all.... I.e go forwards or backwards.... Left to right no probs you could SiT in your driveway like a kid and pretend your going somewhere though..... But none of that matters as it will look cool!!!

The backs of the wheels rub on the calipers ... Rub is being generous they fit but don't try to drive anywhere as the wheels won't turn.......

They don't go straight on, they do then rear, the front calipers need grinding down to fit ( quite a bit) and then there is the fact that it will sit like a pram.......

my 94 vr6 has just completed a trip to praha and back plus miles round germany and belgium and france.... 2400 miles in total no chains have been done nor is there any sign of them needing doing.... didnt miss a beat 34mpg loved it .....oh its running coilovers wound down to the lowest they will go.... il be going to the show and shine on the sunday il look out for ya!.......................in the rado......

the pics do not do that colour justice at all. the colour is amazing the car look sblack really black but the light catches it andx it turns brown , or blue or then purple, it really looks deep purple when the sun is still up but not directly on ythe car it is awesome very very very nice colour. the niggly bits are just niggly bits rob is OCD when it come to his car and it will only take a little bit to sort out the bads.....

Absolute wanker to fit hated it but works well once fitted... ( the pin spun in the retainer and I couldn't trip it fir shit) after some swearing we finally got a break!

Hi ed, i used all of the furniture clinicstuff to paint even the plastics! its works a treat, you ron a slippery slope my friend i did the same as you have done and cleaned items but,........even when they look clean there is absolutly no comparison to when the stuff looks like new. if you paint your seats you will end up doing the rest just so it all matches.... and the plastics , well they were so far out of match they had to be done and now it looks awesome. i bought a medium kit but i had to top up on a few bits so a full on large bad bot kit will do the whole car comfortably.....inc plastics.

been quite latley working..... god damn heater matrix let go this mornign though!!! so started to strip out the dash again#!! thought this time i will take the time and install all the correct speaker cableing i wanted so i can et my music on the go too.... having a go at making my own rca cables this time i have some double shielded cable which looks awesome quality and i picked up some gold phono ends too so il get on it and show yous later... as i was doing the matrix i thought im going to replace the thermostat housing and all relevant plastic while im at it and replace the stat itself just so its all new.... i really want to replace all the water pipes with silicone and the crack pipe with alloy or stainless but i just cant strecth to it just yet!

gloss finish first then satin i used on top for a stock ;eather look..... again very pleased with results and it is my daily seems to hold up to wear and tear very well so far!

lol i didnt even know i was going to do the calipers!! i had some red spray kicking about so i thoguht id give it a go...

yea i want 6 cylinders! lol im not sure about the turbo route...... i like the idea of the supercharger....i can imagine the turbo will kill the engine pretty quick? plus woudlnt it be laggy??

also got rid of the front window tint! looks a lot better now...

well today i got on it and tried to polish my wheels! while i was at it i decided to paint the calipers....as they look a bit rubbish wheels were bad again must keep on top of them! been toying with the idea for a while about painting the band around my rims nimbus grey , i had the paint mixed up a while ago and as i do ,thought bugger it il try it and see what happens.... lol the wheels polished up alright! calipers look ok too.. now all i have to do is the other side!!!

Hmmm got lots to learn here 262,263,268 need to look up what all thus means and how to choose what to go for.....

you can have cams reground?? really how much does that cost? and can any engine tuner shop do it?

i can understand matt but when you think of how much big end bearings are , piston rings rebore? or even if you can get away with honeing then there is the head ...skim to be safe decoke new steam seals exhaust guides etc head bolts gaskets then the oil change etc stuff again chains tensioners and the stuff i wanted to do while it was off its going to be quite pricey.... 1.8 t lumps are two a penny right now and r32 stuff has come right down in buck too..... im guessing you can get an r32 lump for about £800-£1200 ?? new engine less problems? not goingto have 113k on it id hope but all the sasme all the old probs ironed out... more refined etc.... this is why i need some advice etc as in my mind no point in rebuilding the head if the bore has worn....the problem being it needs to be stripped right down to see whats what im guessing?? once you start theres no turning back?? haha i like the idea of keeping what i have and making it good but if i have to rebore and then get pistons the pistons are mental money! £700??? or something daft thats with out conrods etc the car is a keeper in the long run i wanted to S/C the vr6 as i like the idea of it and i cant do that if i have a dodgey bottom end.....

it drives perfect, it doesnt smoke on the road apparently it gives a puff when pushing it between gear changes but not all the time ....and very small amount as i cannot see it in the mirrors,,and i have been looking! the coolant loss isnt massivly bad but it is annoying i hate stuff like this, its not using loads of oil or anything like it , i just want it to be right as i hate seeing old cars smoking about as they look shagged... not looked after etc the engine sounds ok but would need tensioners as never had them done
