i have just read the whole thread and man you make me laugh all this stuff is really good your trying all sorts of different things bud, on the red illumination you have done .........this bit here have you thought about taking it to the next stage?? you can do the reverse lcd trick which will makewthe numbers glow red while the background is black!! looks awesome if you want to do it i can show/tell you how.... as for the new wheels i like them alot i think they will look awesome once on! what are the centres caps like ?? metal or plastic? are they like a nut or are they flat caps?? did you get any joy with the heated seat loom?

yes i plan on doing the rocker cover and inlet mani, the brackets etc probably the alternator and tensioner and the fuel rail etc if time the power rohr... and the gruven pully! oh i need to re fit the front strut brace as i took it off today ive got to say how the fuck do you guys drive your rados with out one??? they handle like a piss of poo with out them makes so much difference esp when you are used to it being there.... with out it the front end felt so uncertain and sloppy really couldnt feel confident in the corners etc i wasnt expecting it to make that much difference but it does....i really missed it across the ring road tonight and the 3 round abouts

i have just secured an amazing deal on an old skool alpine headunit! i am so so so very chuffed i cant believe it i think the model number is 7839r i think..... back in the day it was the top of the range headunit cassette player Ai net etc no built in amp the head unit and 12 disc changer was just short of £1200 !!!lol massive remote controll and the huge hump they were so well known for..., well most of my mates inc my self had these headunits when we were in our boy racer days , but my mate paul , took his out of his car and put it back in the box (sold his car ) and never re used it!! been in the box for 10 years +!!!!! lol picking it up in the morning and it is in bloody good condition really cant wait to get that fitted what a beast cant find any pics on line though...... il update soon though

chris ...................you love it! you just like to polish one off on your own lol we have a group thing going on here! lol hows the block?? went over to robrados place and somehow managed to get up his drive still surprised my self at that one amd thought we would attempt some of this... took this out which came out completly by itself almost couldnt have been easier nuts undone like soft butter and everything went too well to plan we were almost laughing how easy it was .................until we realised it was !! lol getting the 6 branch manifold back in was slightly different fitted no probs but doiung the nuts up on the studs what kin idiot designd it you have got to have hands like a small child to get in there it was frustrating and swearing was a must just to make it work..... my arms are all fucked up after having some allergic reaction to the heat wrap!! lol big red rash up both arms were i was trying all angles to get my fingers in pissed right off with it but got it fitted packed up and fooked off home !! lol ran out of fuel as you do at the top of the hill on way to garage15 yds from the pump actually and then finally got home still now all the need to sort out is the blowing exhaust!!!!! grrrrr lol shes a beauty!! cant wait to hear it properly after the down pipe blow is fixed!

at present they are a kin night mare to look after but then i dont get tthem clean enought to stick any sealer or wax on them !!! there was probably about 6-8 weeks of crap on them!! lol so pretty fecked! lol :nuts: matt you look after my end piece is the jealousy finally getting the better of you ?? do you want to polish my rim as well?? lol lol i wont need any of that at all as its sitting in the boot of the car right now doing bugger all!!! arrrggghhhh lol

my rims are seriously fecked!! so instead of the interior thing i thought id take a break from it and try and polish my rims, and its working but very very slow progress and its even worse as its so cold outside, we live on a hill and its always windy where we are!! so even worse!!! as you can see bad state this is one of those jobs you wish you never started, i dont have a jack at the moment so its not like i can take a wheel off and bring into the house either..... might have to invest in one!! couple interior shots still got some trims etc to put in but il do it when ive got some other bits and pieces ready ive had the seats in and out this week they were painted this week i just need them in asap ive used the car quite a bit and they so far seem to be holding up very well, im trying not to get marks on them ( i cannot feed the leather for 7 days ) im thinking of painting the inner lips of the wheels nimbus grey or whatever its called its a nicecolour and will be a bit different on the wheel, il keep the spokes and lips polished but the band that goes in and around the spokes is just bare metal at the mo so not only will it stop the wheels looking dirtier than they are itl be easy to clean!! lol

For anybody who is worried about getting the carpets dirty on removal and re fitting thier seats DONT!! Just get some autoglym tar and glue remover a clean micro fibre cloth dab a small amont onto cloth small light circular motions and it will take all marks away it works perfect for me and I have had both grey and mow beige carpets it doesnot effect the carpet in anyway try it! Cheers

The earth is connected to the right hand side , if you take fuse box tray out get a torch look right up as far as you can see you will see a ring terminal of say 7-8 male earth spades the earth is attached there... The positive is attached with a red plug single pin jobby on the right hand side of the fuse box as you look at it. Take it down and approx halfway down on right sue you will see a red junction box with allsorts connected it's one of those! Ive got to say this fault couldn't be easier to trace as has been said before it is x2 wires red and brown.... With in line fuse....... No relays involved either..... Don't forget sunroof switch is different too! I personally prefer the later one!

hello this is a piece of piss take a look at my build thread and see ok i havent changed the colour much but its exactly the same principle, however i have changed a few items from grey to beige with absolute ease.... i cannot reccommend this enough furniture clinic.com like i say take a look and let me know what you think any questions feel free to ask
