  1. Get a spare lead and plug and test for a spark on those 2 cylinders?

    Horn not working

Ignition on, measure voltage at the horn. Engine running, measure again and compare? The easiest thing to swap would be the relay? Or open it up and clean the contact with wet and dry paper. Also the horn ring on the rear of the steering wheel and the horn ring wiper on the column.
  3. I very much doubt off the shelf discs will fit the 4 pots and off the shelf OE type pads definitely wont - you'll need to buy their complete kit. Pads to suit the 4 pots, their suitable diameter discs to suit your wheels (to be sure of fitment they'll probably ask you to measure accurately the clearance) and bespoke adaptors to bolt to Corrado knuckles, machined to the offset and diameter of their discs and bolt to their callipers.

Dirty connection, engine running the extra 2v is making all the difference?

Pull the relay, use a 9v PP3 battery on terminals 85 and 86 (you shouldn't need wires as the spacing is similar)? Initiate the click, measure resistance across 30 and 87? (1819) Mechanic Life Hack | Awesome Relay Test! - YouTube

    Wiper linkage

Wiper Linkage Rod for AUDI A3 8L SEAT Toledo SKODA Octavia VW Bora 96-13 VAICO | eBay I wonder if these could be modified to fit (chop and weld to correct the hole centres)? I have a few MK4 assemblies and a couple of Corrados too - I believe the motors fit and are higher powered also?
  8. No, not many grey VR6s. As MJA says look at the MOT history and plan some attention asap

  10. Please do your research before you spend your hard earned cash, vaghag still has his Corrado and occssionally posts on CCGB fb group
  11. I’ve no experience of this, I read the above as.... boxster “S” Rear will fit over 25mm disks rears need not to be reversed - Rear right fits front right - the nipple will remain at the top to expel air in the system when you bleed them (using front callipers you’d need to swap left to right to have the nipple at the top? Ie reversed). thats my take on what’s written in your quote, don’t shoot me if I’m wrong....
  12. Next door neighbours 84 LHD 911 SC has just gone off to California, around 10 years since it came here from New York for around triple its original value, even so it was a forced distress sale - it's the second A/C 911 he's been forced to sell . The marketing comments from Keyo are good ones, resto show in March, Classic car show in November should be on your radar, as should Stanford?
  13. Would a Campaign register on a speculators radar? You have to be a hardened enthusiast to know what one is, to 99% the Storm is the pinnacle of Corrado ownership? Savvy buyers buy in winter (lower prices), sellers get the most in spring (more competition from potential buyers)?

  15. I thought people had moved away from the AGU in favour of the later DBW cars that are cheaper, easier to tune (flash map mot bench map) and more plentiful? I think I'd have a chat with Badger5 - they're still doing amazing stuff with the 1.8T, I follow them on fb. Badger 5 Ltd | Stroud | Facebook

    Horn not working

I’ve not done it on a corrado, but have on others. you’ll only have to move the nut a fraction. Can you navigate it via the plastic horns oriface?
  17. Dox

    Horn not working

Slacken off the centre nut a little on the round bit inside the horn- lack of use makes them seize - I assume you've put 12v straight to them to disprove the wiring / buttons?

  19. Any wiring to the rear clusters shorting to brake light wiring including the hatch fogs n reverse lights - side lights need to be on when fogs illuminate. brake bulbs are live, pedal switch earths the circuit?
  20. Dave16v recently bought a pump replacement for around £70? halfway down the page
  21. Have the pins the relays connects to become loose?
  22. If this was mine it would be too tempting to jerry rig a fused 12v+ to pin 3 on the hall sensor - this would be at MY risk. Back in the day when G60 engine conversions were popular I'm sure G60 engines could be fitted to 88 onwards 8V PB engined MK2 Golfs (NOT earlier K-jet) cars using the base cars loom and adding a few wires to the ecu plug? My logic therefore would be an 8V ECU from a late MK2 Golf would start a G60 and allow it to idle? This would be at MY OWN risk, I'm only mumbling this so you can do your own research before taking a leap of faith. If in doubt ignore my ramblings
  23. So you’re missing 12v+ at pin 8 on the ecu and it’s corresponding pin 3 on the hall sensor?
  24. Ign sw will power up the ECU via the relay and you have power?
