  1. 1995 "N" UK reg onwards was the first date for mandatory cat testing. K,L & M reg only get a full cat test if there is an EXACT match on VIN & engine codes in the EGA database. This is where you need to go to the online book. Lots of Renault models of this era also asked for a match on the make of ECU/injection system eg Bosch, Siemens, Magnetti Marelli etc. From a qualified tester on a technicians forum
  2. I have 2, the other is slightly better than that one, £25 the pair posted?
  3. Try starting another thread with the reg no in the heading "M110 LBB where is it now?" or similar
  4. If they have ABV engines on there database they will also know it came cat equipped from the factory and it "should" fail on a missing cat
  5. I think you'll find ABV is on the database. Although I cant find it on that link, anything that has emission equipment removed "should" be a fail as of earlier this year due to the amount of people removing DPFs etc from diesels. A gutted DPF is a pass, but the item has to be in place and appear as it left the factory etc etc
  6. https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/429032/mot-inspection-manual-classes-3-4-5-7-vehicles.pdf Go to 7.3 page 9
  7. I've had notification from paypal that you've cancelled my forum subs, did you mean to do that?
  8. I echo all of the above and thank you for your long term commitment past, present and future. A note to the Corrado Forum members..... This is a fantastic platform for information, please don't let the various facebook groups dilute your enthusiasm for posting here, they're just a pale imitation of the Corrado Forum without the historical back up we have here.
  9. I think the clearance issue with 312s and 16s are when the wheels have a bit of dish to them, flat faced 16 inch Montreal 1s and 2s fit over 312s too
  10. Some 16s will fit 312s, it depends on the design of the wheel
  11. I bow to your superior knowledge
  12. Normally if the brushes are worn the shortest one will have sooty deposits on the end from arcing. The new brushes will come with straight ends that need to wear concave into the slip rings to perform at there best (a bit like new brake pads and old disks there performance will improve as they bed in)
  13. Anything above 10MPH and the wipers begin to lift off the screen, most fit the more modern Lupo aero wiper arms with there stronger springs that hold tighter to the screen and wrap around and clear it much better
  14. The fronts should be 312mm diameter and are a common upgrade for the Corrado - see the wiki at the bottom of the front page, basically you need the 312mm set up, the correct flexi hoses (Goodridge) and some 6mm thick spacers. The rears are 256mm vented and owners have fitted them, but its more involved, Purple Tom explains the various options in his build thread.

    Number Plates

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/171804241773 I've ordered fully MOT compliant plates from this seller, they even replaced on with a thumb print showing through without an issue
  17. A faulty voltage reg usually gives erratic fuel and temp gauge readings
  18. It depends on the shape of the spokes at the rear, some curve into and hit the caliper
  19. How much clearance do you need? ET 25 plus a 10mm spacer and you're affectively ET15 and hitting the arches. Sometimes you can clearance the calipers themselves to give a little more room
  20. The spoiler module is behind the dash, near its manual switch, by the drivers right knee
  21. There's no mention of the immob in the Bentley manual, but its based on USA cars so maybe they don't have one? Check the other items listed for that fuse. If the fuse has broken, replace it, fire the spoiler manually with the switch. If the motor on the spoiler is suspect, unplug it inside the hatch and road test for a week or two before sourcing a replacement.
  22. Not on the car, I've not sorted spacers yet
