Volksworld13 (I knew it was a number lol). Genuine vw corrado brake lines remanufactured updated prices (July 19) - Page 9 - Forum Group-Buys - The Corrado Forum (the-corrado.net)

Volksworld?? (forum member) used to remanufacture them?
-
There have been price crashes in classics in the past, but these are not £100K+ resto Jags. Prices are high for the useable cars bought by enthusiasts, whether the investor sector is going to pay £40K+ is a different matter. I've always thought G60s were under valued and if I was looking for a long term project that's what I'd look for, at a local all marques "coffee n cars" meet even non VAG owners would be intrigued by the charger?

James Bond stylee, with hinge down gauge panel hiding hidden cassette storage?
-
My c box fits my late rotary control dash, not sure of make, probably VW official accessory?
-
TT controls, tt seats too? Superb work (I’ve scored a hat trick with that now)
-
Paid £7 for mine 8ish years ago, mad the way prices have gone…
-
Don't clamp the pulley, wrap the pulley with the belt and clamp the belt into the vice, pulley above the vice
-
Old belt around the pulley and clamp in a vice? You'll need an assistant and rattle gun if possible
-
Swap over pulleys? Golf v5 / v6 is usual upgrade with a pulley swap?
-
Just looked on eBay for corrado cassette/ tape / Fischer c box etc and can’t find any past or present for a guide price
-
Excuse my humour, I don’t get the panic gauges on a road car, the current prices for the VDO set dumbfound me. As I said, superb work, on the down side Fischer C box prices will rocket if you share your fine idea….
-
You could have saved yourself a load of aggravation and bought a set for £700? superb work btw

200 miles of use usually returns a firm pedal, they’ll never be as good as a modern car, but with a firm push they do scrub off speed ok. On the bright side no one should ever run into the back of you lol
-
I had a shuffle around lol. Will go soon, need another shuffle around lol
-
Probably have what you need, the first time the storm felt sun on its roof for 7 years the covering fell off completely the next day, I still have the backing in place. I’ll have a look Friday

All I'll say with ebay is that they can read you messages, so stay polite and professional whilst refuting their claims, if they get cocky or sarcastic I've always won. I've always won 90% anyway, the last one was a guy in France complaining his part took 4 days to arrive when it stated less in the listing - he used ebays worldwide shipping, I posted to Lichfield, ebay repost worldwide, won the ebay dispute, so he took it to paypal, won that one too. He was so crushed he didn't leave feedback.....

Get it on the road, if you're doing 2K per year and the engine uses 1L every 1K miles 10L of oil will last 12 months and include an annual oil change. Oil consumption only becomes an issue when it starts to foul plugs. If it give problems after 1K miles have a compression test done, followed by a leak down test to prove where the loss of compression results from.

Or use neoprene and cut the seal using 2 blades with a distance piece between to cut parallel?
-
What about using heat shrink and piping silicone inside via a syringe?
-
Pull plug leads off one by one, if you find one that has no effect on idle you’ve found the cylinder with the issue. plug, lead, cap, (coil unlikely as other 3 are ok), injector or compression. cam a tooth out will also give poor idle / low on power

Sold, £16,740 with fees

They halved the content, doubled the waffle - it might be a covid thing, the production co also wanted more programs, there's another series after this one. Its not just this one, the previous episode of this series were also a but thin on real content IMO

My Rod Stewart moment, “Tonight tonight”. 20 mins to get the wife ironing and kids to bed

I don't know what they're worth either tbh, most fit lupo / tt wipers and aero wiper blades for a more modern look and much better performance too
