I've seen bushes that literally fall through wishbones being slightly undersize causing a knock on a neighbours A3. Toby can have issues with people reproducing diagrams from manuals (not naming names as their searches look for such names).

288s will have the clip into the piston. The carriers hold the pads, were thes refurbed / new?
-
The spring thingy is fitted to the outside of the caliper?
-
Pros usually use mdf and body filler. There may be better solutions these day

I can't remember if it was my MK2 or MK3, I ripped the cones from the speakers and fitted tweeters to the remaining baskets using silicon. You could use a gluegun and experement angling the tweeter towards the driver whilst trial fitting the grills. You can use the screen to bounce the sound towards you, high frequencies are directional, mid and bass less so. Mine were MB Quarts, but below is a similar tweeter set up for example. TP-005A Car Dome Tweeter 500W 4Ohm Speaker High Frequency Audio Loudspeaker | eBay You'll get better performance from the mids if you bolt them to the door itself rather than the flimsy doorcard which wont cut off the out of phase (noise cancelling) frequencies from the rear.

Re dremel, you need to cover the tank from sparks , sounds obvious/ condescending, but better safe than sorry
-
I’d only replace the one from the pump to the engine, the other is the return and is not under pressure
-
Sorry, I missed that. I’ve a pair of croc clips (ex battery charger), in-line fuse and the two common sizes of female spade connectors, I power up many things with them to test off the car. A worthwhile addition to any workshop and free

The motor has 2 connections, I suggest before you remove the whole assembly you apply 12v directly to it to se if you actually need to remove it.

Sean lists A, B, C in his for sale post. On a different note, how many times have you had to brake hard watching the spoiler raise / lower in the rear view mirror lol
-
You could be right, but its the speed at which the spoliler lifts that the suffix of the part number denotes, all should work - plug and play?

Welcome, there are two modules because there are 2 different speeds that the spoiler lifts at, UK spec is the lower of the 2 speeds I believe?

He does how to videos on YouTube for corrado fixes. it’s worth watching even if you don’t always agree with the content https://youtube.com/user/harpersteven

1987 Audi Quattro UR For Sale By Auction (carandclassic.com)
-
My situation is exactly the same, all be it 6 years ago and the car remains in the garage. What I have found that some cars "fit" me much better than others, MK4 Golf and the Corrado, so I'll just keep the Corrado until the day I can't physically drive it (55 and already have arthritis in both wrists and thumbs, knees and hips not too far behind) I'll widen the drive before the car goes.... At a local coffee and car meet I totally ignore the Maclarens, Lambos, new Porsches and head for the older stuff and 80s, 90s German stuff with the odd brit car thrown in, basically I'm in my own time warp. The Corrado is staying.

Seller would want to maximise his sale, buyer would want some surety of condition for that kind of money - farmers are incredably tight with their money? I'd be shockedif it sold without an MOT
-
V5 issued after MOT expired, I'd say the owner changed address, who'd buy / sell with no mot?

Volksworld13 (I knew it was a number lol). Genuine vw corrado brake lines remanufactured updated prices (July 19) - Page 9 - Forum Group-Buys - The Corrado Forum (the-corrado.net)

Volksworld?? (forum member) used to remanufacture them?
-
There have been price crashes in classics in the past, but these are not £100K+ resto Jags. Prices are high for the useable cars bought by enthusiasts, whether the investor sector is going to pay £40K+ is a different matter. I've always thought G60s were under valued and if I was looking for a long term project that's what I'd look for, at a local all marques "coffee n cars" meet even non VAG owners would be intrigued by the charger?

James Bond stylee, with hinge down gauge panel hiding hidden cassette storage?
