Did think about those but want them to work well from cold as well as when heated ? They honestly do. Dont work well for the first 50m after that completely fine! Hardly any difference in this respect to the green ones I had. I was a little surprised as well.

They may have changed but my green stuff were rubbish. Have the red stuff now which are a LOT better Matt

Absolutely love it mate! Those wheels have to be some of the best to put on a Corrado 8) Anymore plans for the future? Not that it looks like it needs anything else
-
Yeah easy to get to. Right hand side of boot behind the carpet. It is in a big grey polystyrene case held together with a 10mm plastic screw you cant miss it

Could be a bit of a leak somewhere. That could cause it to run for longer. But then you central locking probably wouldnt open.... Have you checked all connections are secure on the pump?
-
Oh dear! If it gets to that I'm definately going to ask for a refund and return... Its not silly money, probably £250 max so you could always ask for this back if they are willing. These things do go on the Corrado. So if they have not been done on a car then they would need doing at some point...

My engine is also running very hot indeed, though i have managed to avoid a rad blowout or anthing as messy. I have had the little heater matrix helping out and all the windows and sunroof open, just to maintain 110degrees on the coolant and 122-130 on the oil - not good!! :gag: I noticed the same thing, whereby I know the water temp gauge says 100+ degrees, but the fans only start when the ignition is off, and vice versa; the fan stops if I turn the engine over. I thought this was odd, however when I called my mechanic brother, he asked me if the radiator was actually getting hot, or is the heater matrix the only active radiator. ie, is the thermostat knackered and keeping the main rad out of the circuit. My answer was no, the rad is still cold at 95 degrees on the coolant needle. it sounds like my thermostat is shot! Anyone got a pic handy, so I know what to replace? I'm new to VR6s :confused4: Weasel, what was the verdict on your "fan only runs when ignition off" issue? When mine did the same I had a water pump on the way out and also my Thermostat housing had cracked as well. Matt

Hi mate I am in the same position, I wouldnt get Bilstein and Eibach they will be harsh! I am looking at replacing my Eibach springs with H&R ones or looking at some KW coilovers with 'comfort' spring rates. Matt

Think thats the biggie. You need to be absolutely 100% that your car has not had any paintwork. Otherwise you are gonna make a mess

Spot on write up! :salute:

Agreed boiling water worked best for me. Have to say though unless you are considering a repaint Im not sure I would even attempt this! Matt

I think they just come on when you have the heated rear window switched on.

Check my thread here: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=77994 I have posted a big check list that yandards wrote (really helpful) I also agree that cleaning all the mecanicla parts of the system is also one of the first thing you should do. This is pretyy straight fwd and I am not mechanically minded at all... Matt

LOL Ditto! Getting there tho! Hope the alarm is an easy fix mate. Matt

Are all Corrado Mirrors Heated Or is it just the later models? Thanks Matt

Ok bought a multimeter today and it does look like the brown wire is faulty in the closed position and sending a constant close command to the pump. Just goes to show that you cant go by appearances only as they look completely fine at both ends :confused4: I also tried a replacement door handle but I guess that one may have been faulty as well. Ho hum will try new door handle and see how we go, hey its probably the only part i havent replaced now so..... Cheers again Yandards Matt

Bloody hell! Save your money then and spend it on £10 pints and the ladies  If your car needs looking after :luvlove: whilst your away......

Dont get me wrong I think it would work and look pretty good. But I think bare carbon only looks really good on some Jap cars and full carbon Italian exotica! Car is looking great btw 8)

Yeah you will have a top time i am sure. Would jump at the chance to move abroad for a bit. What sort of costs are involved taking it with you then?
-
Personaly I would paint it maybe leaving a bit of the weave coming through. Looks like a great fit which is amazing for a carbon bonnet! 8)

I prefer the 5 spokes mate. VR's should have 5 spokes!
