    Windscreen leak

It was getting in under the little grille that covers the vent, because the rubber seal had perished. It was making all the insulating sponge bits under the left hand side of the dash wet, and was dribbling onto the carpet in the bottom left corner. Think it kind of went around the fan, not through it. Also had a leak through the door membrane. As fla says, get someone to put a hose on the roof/screen while you're in the car.
  2. Reckon you'll miss the Corrado. You really need to drive a VR6 and MR2 to see what you like. MR2 surely wouldn't be particularly faster than your 16v? What about a 200SX? Think they were available up to 2001, rear wheel drive, Jap reliability, rare, easy to mod, cheap, look good and as fast as a VR when standard. Worth a look IMHO.

    Windscreen leak

Are you sure it's from the screen, and not coming through the fan vent in the scuttle on the right? My old G60 leaked from here because the drain hole was blocked with loads of leaves etc. The water was pooling up. Also the rubber seal around the vent grille was perished.
  4. Sounds like a great price. I'm sure people would appreciate some pics of your work
  5. Liking those a lot 8) Reckon the ride height is pretty much spot on tbh.
  6. Car looks absolutely stunning, mate 8)
  7. Nice one- enjoy! Standard ride height of late VR6's is  Not sure of the exact heights, but they definately need a 40mm drop.
  8. Cheers Gaz :) Nipped out for a quick drive & some fresh air this afternoon whilst Rach and baby were asleep  Have only been out twice in the Corrado since baby was born! Would love a Recaro baby seat, but we got one as part of the buggy/travel system, and we've inherited a bigger one for later from my sis. Corrado's going in for some work tomorrow: ARB drop links & bushes PAS & Alternator belts Front pads + a couple of other small bits and pieces
  9. Can't help with the chop am afraid, but the car looks 8) on the Borbet C's...
  10. Looks awesome! Like the centre console guages, screen etc 8)
  11. Some half decent pics I took today. Weather was a bit dull so they're not fantastic. Mods so far: Koni suspension kit Tinted rear lights Tinted headlights MK 3 Anniversary rear calipers Chrome Corrado script Boxer exhaust KR inlet cam  VT front engine mount Airbox snorkel removed  Think that's just about it. To come: New alarm Inpro smoked tails 16's or BBS G60 wheels Anyone wanna swap p/x some 16's or G60 BBS's for my 17's?
  12. All you'll notice from a K&N induction kit is poorer throttle response and a much louder noise. I've had a couple before and you initially think it's faster because of the amazing noise. After changing back again after a few months to the standard airbox, the car felt so much smoother with better throttle response. Go for a BMC!
  13. Defo slam it- late VR's are stupidly high. Koni kit is good and quite reasonable from Awesome GTI. You're better off with the panel filter than an induction kit located in the engine bay. Go for a BMC CDA, or a Carbonio CAI.
  14. Hi Windypops :) Get some pics up
  15. As Andi says, it's really simple to adjust, if you can find the little sensor box. Flat head screwdriver and you just turn it clockwise or anticlockwise.
  16. Wow, sounds fantastic! Would want to keep it tucked away somewhere, but then again that would be a huge waste! Corrado's have to be driven...
  17. Looks really nice mate 8) . Get shot of those wheels asap though!
  18. Sounds like a good 'un. Just make sure you set-aside several hours for Steve's inspection, and add on a couple more if Mr Haywire comes along too. Might be an idea to take along a camping stove and tent
  19. Also give the pipes a good massage (oo-er missus!).
